Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition

Great classic RTS, I like the skirmish mode, it has a lot of depth to it and each faction feels different and has it's own playstyle, the story mode and DLCs are okay but personally I think they can be too much of a drag, in some missions you just build up a big army and steamroll the enemy, like in every stronghold mission in Dark Crusade for example. Skirmish is great tho, the AI is awesome too.

For it's time, a great game. For 2026? Awful. This is supposed to be the definitive edition, but it struggles with: 1. Quality of life elements like deleting/removing buildings, which has caused me to accidentally block of paths many times 2. Cannot deselect units, leading to issuing the wrong orders 3. Horribly inept descriptions for campaign objectives (especially in the 2nd campaign, winter war) leading to the wrong decisions that require a mission to be restarted 4. Poorly defined mission end points, leading to wasted time preparing for a battle that turns out to just be a cutscene
