Sadly enough no longer the game that I used to play nearly a decade ago. So many on screen effects, so many flashy lights, no settings to reduce that at all. Not recommended for photosensitive people like me.

Ever since the 1999 update, the game just doesn't feel the same. The new content doesn't feel like warframe. The game lost its soul somewhere along the way.

Do not play this game solo. I did do this to myself. The game has the option to be played solo, so that's how I will be rating it. There are many fun things in this game but its just unrewarding and an absolute slog. The only thing worse than the early game are the people running defense for it. You will spend a lot of your time in the Wiki, looking for explanations that should be in the game. If you don't have a second monitor, I can only pity you. If you try googling something, make sure it isn't from 5-10 years ago, which most of the information will be. Do not use any kind of AI garbage to get answers for your questions, it will be wrong 80% of the time, just ask in-game, in the incredibly annoying and oversaturated chat. Trying to play this game solo and expecting meaningful progression in a reasonable amount of time is not realistic for casual players. Mastery rank locks quality of life. Mastery rank is locked behind having to play with weapons that are awful and unenjoyable. If you do not plan to use the incredibly obnoxious trading system, you will not be finding enough mods to make the weapons you need to level up not as cancerous to use. If you do trade, you can completely trivialize the progression in no time at all. This game still has great potential, even after 13 years. It is a bit staggering that a lot of the issues you will run into as a new player have been unresolved for around a decade, take away from that what you will.
