Just an overall bad game. After the first 4 hours you will struggle to find enjoyment. The game is riddled with historical inaccuracies and biased implementations of aircraft. The devs favorite planes are the best in the game, and are kitted to allow them to dominate while other planes are stripped of prominent kits for seemingly no reason aside from the traditional "it's for balancing" excuse. Do you like the F-86 F-2? Welp, you better not because you're going to be placed only into up-tier matches were you go against G. 91's with Aim-9Bs. Good luck having an enjoyable match since you're going to be dodging missiles 80% of the time without flares since you're in an 8.0 plane (regardless if you're getting placed into 9.3 or higher tiers). But no, we can't have the F-86 F-2 given countermeasures since the real-life plane didn't have any! - Gaijin. So for the sake of "historical accuracy" they don't provide mid-tier American sub-sonic fighters/interceptors any countermeasures, yet have them be placed in the same tier as planes from the late-60s and 70s. Hell, if you pay real money they'll give you a G. 91 decked out with multiple AIM-9B missiles so that you can stomp on planes with no defenses (even though the G. 91 never fired an AIM-9B in combat). As long as you pay Gaijin money, they don't care about historical accuracy anymore and they'll give you all the missiles you want, regardless if the plane ever used them. Hell, they started throwing experimental planes into the mix just for the hell of it so they could get some extra money. This game is nothing but paying Gaijin your hard earned money so that you can have a semblance of fun playing this god forsaken ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. All fun vehicles in the game are bad, all good vehicles in the game are mindless and unfun. There is no perfect sweet-spot that you'll spend hours trying to find. It doesn't exist. There is no balance in this game. Everything is made to make you feel like you're on the cusp of finding enjoyment that doesn't actually exist. The whole thing is built around top tier fighter jets "looking" fun. They aren't. Nothing is fun, nothing is realistic, and none of this game requires any level of skill. If you want a plane game that requires actual skill, play DCS. This ♥♥♥♥ is for kids to empty out their Mom's wallet. Don't play it.
