Wished it could of been longer at least 3-5 hours to flush out the story and backgrounds for the characters. Overall it made me cry.
Could of at least made him visit Gryla when she went to school or something
[strike]I'd give this a neutral rating if I could. Since it's rated as mostly positive now, I'm giving a thumbs down to balance it out.[/strike] EDIT: changed to thumbs up. I've given worse VNs a positive review TBH, and it didn't really seem fair. Nothing else in the review has changed. A very short kinetic novel (I read it in 20 minutes), but it feels the right length for the self-contained story it wants to tell. Generally good writing (barring a few typos). The setup of a guy in the middle of nowhere meeting a mysterious girl has been done many times already, but it works well and it's a sweet story here. Nice presentation; large fonts are always appreciated! The music cuts out for random stretches of awkward silence, but it's all right when it's there. There's an "Extras" button on the main menu that does nothing, which is kind of misleading. Iceland is an unusual setting for a visual novel, and although it's not explored in great depth, it makes for some beautiful backgrounds. The sprite and CG art is beautiful as well, but inconsistent with the text; the heroine's pointed elf ears are mentioned several times, but when you finally see them, they're just normal human ears. Overall nothing outstanding, but if you like short visual novels, maybe worth picking up on sale.
Beautiful and sweet VN, loved the atmosphere and setting.
Nice game even though it's too short :P
The whole thing feels amateurish. Writing is rough, story moves too fast and characters are underdeveloped. Music is serviceable, but forgettable. Art is pretty, but has some Dutch angles for no justified reason (Seriously, WTF? Don't do it!) No in-game CG gallery is a shame. 4/10
Short story (about 35 min) with interesting scenery and a life lesson. I would have liked it to be longer and better developed, but for the price, I'm not disappointed. I'd like to see more stories from this developer.
