Virus at Home

This is a short game (although with the Nightmare Mode you can play for longer) but I haven't laughed like this after playing a game in a long time. The premise is simple, protect your house/apartment from the virus coming from all windows. It's got a survival element to it where you have to close windows, get ammo, cure yourself and fight the virus all at once. I finished the game in a very short time but near the end I was laughing and having a lot of fun at how things escalate, the memes, everything. Considering what we've been through in real life, this was a whole lot of fun and I'd recommend it as long as you understand what you're getting, a short, one night survival fight to the death with a virus.

Beyond being the most realistic depiction of COVID the medium of video games has to offer, this is a surprisingly challenging and rewarding experience. After beating the hardest difficulty and then reaching level 50 on Nightmare, I'm genuinely surprised this game is only $1.99 because it offers so much more than most games like it. For the price, I would say it's an easy 9/10 and you will find immense catharsis in purging the virus from the world. Love, Jay and Silent Bob.
