The "developer", Gamesforgames/Polka Studio, took a template from GameMaker Studio, slapped a couple of AI slop sprites on it, and dumped the results onto Steam as a cash grab scam. Atomic Fabrik/Gamesforgames/Polka Studio has shown a repeated pattern of asset flipping, fake games, review manipulation... all direct attempts to scam and defraud gamers into buying these fake games so they can get a few roubles in their pockets. It's unacceptable and harmful. Don't believe me? It's a fake game. Look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game! This unethical behaviour should be no surprise, as Gamesforgames/Polka Studio are known asset flippers who've previously taken the work of real developers, changed the name and put their own name on it, so they can sell it on Steam and try to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's work. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "VILOVEJETS" is just a very badly made GameMaker Studio Space Invaders ripoff, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who create genuine, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have. They make it harder for gamers to find genuine games made by honest developers. To cement the position of this asset flip as nothing but a cash grab, it was dumped onto cheap DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles very shortly after launch. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Gamesforgames/Polka Studio. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.[/quote] VILOVEJETS is a "template" flip/kitbash, and not a properly developed game. The "developer" filled out a basic template in the craptastic GameMaker Studio (a blight on gaming), changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.[/quote]

On each of the 15 levels presented in the game, you need to humiliate the alien ships, constantly dodging enemy shots. The ship has one type of weapon and one life with a health bar (the hull can withstand a couple of projectile hits, but the laser beam destroys the ship instantly). I am glad that after a defeat, you can continue the game from the current level as many times as you want. Just keep in mind that progress is not saved: if you quit the game, then after returning you will have to start all over again.

И один в поле воин… Вернее в космосе! Хотя, не совсем один, ибо временами нам помогают большие космолёты уничтожать неприятеля, если заберём выстрелом то, что вылетает после разрушения врага. Хитрющая поддержка, конечно, ибо появляется только после того как мы кого-то кокнули. Но возможно мы расплачиваемся с этой поддержкой останками и подобное неудивительно. Что касается нас, то у нас хлипенький, но постоянно стреляющий корабль имеется, и мы должны полностью очистить зону от неприятеля, который в нас стреляет временами. Важно найти безопасное место и правильно рассчитывать время стрельбы и траекторию полёта снаряда, чтобы не окочуриться. Сложность ещё в том, что поле боя не такое уж статичное, но привыкнуть вполне можно. Благо, что после проигрыша мы можем продолжить на том же этапе, где остановились и если повезёт с вызовом поддержки, то пройти этот этап довольно быстро. Пройти приключение пока не удалось, но хочется пытаться вновь и вновь, что очень ценно для игры.

На каждом нужно уничтожить инопланетные корабли, постоянно уворачиваясь от вражеских выстрелов. У корабля один вид оружия и одна жизнь с полосой здоровья (обшивка выдерживает пару попаданий снарядов, но луч лазера уничтожает корабль мгновенно). Радует, что после поражения можно продолжить игру с текущего уровня сколько угодно раз. Только учтите, что прогресс не сохраняется: если вышли из игры, то после возвращения придется начинать все с самого начала. Пушка у корабля слабая, приходится очень долго стрелять, но тут есть выпадающие из врагов «монетки». Это своего рода супероружие. Если вы ловите их корпусом или своими выстрелами, то на экране появляется босс, который помогает вам уничтожать инопланетян. Этих дружеских «боссов» 2 вида: огромный корабль с лазером наносит большой урон, а напоминающий скамейку босс сдвигает врагов на один ряд вверх и наносит малый урон. Усложняет геймплей постоянно покачивающийся экран и то, что сколько выпадет монет на уровне, и какой босс появится при их активации - чистый рандом.

An arcade retro shooter that at first glance might seem like a simple casual shooter, but in reality, it's much more than that. You fly through colorful levels filled with enemies and projectiles. You survive and destroy them. Pleasant retro graphics and music. The hardcore aspect certainly adds to the excitement; you won't be able to relax. For its price, it's an acceptable game for a few evenings; overall, I'm happy with it.
