Awesome
Vegas Infinite is an excellent VR casino, and tons of fun. I've played a fair bit with my Index and Quest 2 and can confidently recommend it. The VR controls are perfectly suitable, though some of the finer details aren't clearly described. The player positioning at tables was a slight sticking point as I like to play in my recliner, but for vertical positioning, rotation and fwd/back positioning its no problem to use OVR, though VI has a simple height adjustment setting. I recommend turning off motion smoothing in SteamVR settings otherwise you might get frequent grey-screen pauses due to the way the player is adjusted to the table seats, and disable super-sampling for an easy performance boost. If you want sharper details, increase resolution scaling in SteamVR settings. I have no complaints about the fairness or randomness of the games, feels about as rigged as a meat-space casino. Be sure to find a poker game from the menu in your suite rather than automatic match-making.
After trying this game on the Steam Machine, it keeps crashing. A shame really, cause game looks so much fun. After loading the game for the first time, after 10 seconds it crashed. Tried it so many times, but keeps crashing. Hope the devs are working on a fix.

Vegas Infinite is a free-to-play VR casino from PokerStars that puts you in a virtual casino floor with poker, blackjack, roulette, slots, and social lobbies. The core games function. You can sit down, place bets, and play. That is about where the positives stop. The presentation feels a full decade behind. In 2026 this still looks and runs like a 2016 VR title. Visuals are muddy, resolution is soft, and assets lack the polish of current Quest and PC VR games. Slot machines are a particular problem. They will appear, then visually vanish while the game continues spinning and deducting credits in the background. The result is constant uncertainty about what is actually happening. Controls and systems are under-tuned. There is no clear onboarding help visible at launch, and the experience shows no meaningful use of modern AI for guidance, moderation, or quality-of-life features. Movement, interaction, and table flow feel dated compared to other multiplayer VR titles released in the last several years. The social side is worse. Lobbies frequently contain open use of racial slurs, harassment, and general toxicity. Moderation is weak enough that this is a recurring complaint across player reviews. These issues are not isolated. Player feedback across Meta, Steam, Reddit, and review sites consistently cites the same problems: frequent disconnects and freezes that cost chips, poor optimization (especially after cross-play with flat-screen and mobile users was added), glitchy slots and UI, a toxic community with inadequate moderation, and a strong perception that the economy is tuned to push real-money chip purchases. Gameplay itself is functional but lackluster. The casino fantasy is undercut by technical instability and an environment that does not feel worth returning to. For a free social casino in VR, that is a fatal combination. I do not recommend Vegas Infinite.
