You will be expected to hand over cash to the "developers" just for playing the game.[/quote] "Vegas Craps by Pokerist" is yet another nasty iPhone game on Steam. It's not free, it's riddled with toxic mobile app microtransactions in the nasty real money cash shop that's integrated into every aspect of this shallow garbage. This is quite simply a mobile app/browser-tier trashware "game" with gambling, intended to prey on gamers. While it's advertised as "Free" to play, it isn't, you must buy an in game currency, chips or whatever, to continue playing after you inevitably lose... after all, odds are in the houses favour (and the houses bots). The developer claims it's not gambling because you can't cash out, so all the money they try to coerce you into buying "chips" with is gone for good. I don't see how that's better or worse than just going to a casino. I'm at a loss for words at how such an evil, unethical system as organised online gambling could jam its foot into the door here on Steam, at a time when loot boxes and other anti-gamer, predatory exploitation systems are being investigated by governments around the world. There's plenty of accusations of unethical fixing of the odds here, and while they're not substantiated, I find it difficult to believe these people peddling gambling and trying to inflict this on the innocent population of Steam gamers on PC are bastions of honesty and integrity. So if you think sending thousands of dollars to these people for virtual chips you can gamble away is a good idea, maybe give that some introspection before buying any of the chips they constantly spam you with offers to buy in this advertising riddled mobile app like casino. Pretending for a moment this isn't the evil of cancer manifesting itself on Steam with the intention of exploiting and entrapping PC gamers into gambling and debt, it's got all the same qualities as a mobile/browser game ported to PC, with locked resolution and poor quality 2D visuals, so it doesn't meet the standards for a PC game. But I'm pretty sure that being cancer personified is really more than enough reason to disqualify this one. So what game there is here is just a shallow iPhone screen tapper. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on the slot machines at the casino. The minimal "game" aspect of this mobile app is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Ignoring that this is just a nasty predatory mobile app scam... at best, this is a garbage iPhone app. I didn't drop thousands on a high-end gaming rig just to pretend it's an iPhone, and I doubt you did either... this sort of trash has no business worsening your Steam library. Like most mobile-tier cash grabs, you're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for a lowest possible quality mobile app, this is clearly intended to strip away your consumer rights and compromise your privacy. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections and consumer rights that gamers expect to have, which is a major red flag. Mobile "developers" need to realize they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I let my cat walk over the keys during the EULA prompt, which solved the issue for me. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. You can always judge a game by how popular it is with the general public. Steam has over 130 million unique gamers, and over 40 million unique logons every day from dedicated PC gamers. But this only ever had a peak player count of a dozen or so people... that's very poor public reception. Gamers rejected this, most likely due to the reasons I supply in this review. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? Nope. This is just impossible to recommend to serious gamers. There's no up front price, but I still feel like I got ripped off. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere. AI models are trained on copyrighted intellectual property without permission from the owners. But when on earth would online scammers care about the ethics of using AI slop when they're too busy defrauding gamers for money?

Just another online game designed to milk you for money. I would rather pay outright and have a game I can actually play than something like this that gives you a piddly amount each day that gives you a few minutes of entertainment.

10/10 for me. I love playing craps in real life and this game really does feel like the real thing. U can learn a bunch of games bc they literally have everything and a way for u to learn. Absolutely recommended 100% (Steam deck is all touch controls) Hope this game gets the future and love it deserves.
