This is a free to play VN with 4 different endings. You will unlock all the achievements for each ending you unlock. It does not take long to unlock all the achievements once you can skip the dialog. Overall not a bad free to play VN

Short, but reads like poetry

A short visual fantasy novel, following the story of an undead warrior travelling through land ruined by war, full of gloom and with a glimmer of hope. Game practically consists of static illustrated screens, a narrative with few decision points, underscored by subdued music. The illustrations themselves have the feel like coming from a book, and they do have certain depth and dark beauty in them; and I was really captivated by the story itself, it is quite immersive and gives you an insight how undead people might feel. The game is available for free, but if you like it you can buy some digital “cookies” as a DLC to support the developers.
Unroaded's bleak, inhospitable and often nihilistic world will nourish the cravings of anyone who keeps pondering about the afterlife, or anybody who enjoys the lyrics of atmospheric black metal bands such as Caladan Brood, Summoning or Sojourner.
This game was great and I was surprised at how impressive the art was. I love the various endings you can achieve and how each choice you made to get to the ending reflected which one you got. My only complaint is some loose ends such as when you meet the philosopher but don't learn his entire past or the strangers but never see them again. However I think this is fair because the game seems like it is being left open for a part two in which these characters could be involved. It would probably follow the vagrant ending as it is the only one that makes sense for a part two. There are just a couple misspellings and the connotation is really cool so all in all it is worth all the reading. Anyone who is thinking about playing this game I would say find about an hour and a half of time to play it all in one session. Enjoy the game everyone!
The first time reading the intro did not make much sense, but going through it again and following the different choices was very interesting. I had some trouble finding one of the endings, but overall enjoyable once I figured it out. I also enjoyed the little bits of philosophy that came from it. Really well done and a treat to read! -Free Game Amasser
Simple, thoughtful. A meditation.
Good to think of life sometimes. Good writing.
