Umamusume: Pretty Derby

It's actually crazy how much depth goes into not only the stories of the characters but into the gameplay itself. I've spent hundreds of hours in this game and I am still a long way from being as good as I want to get. Now I'm going to get back to playing so I can do just that.

I'll still play this game because I like this franchise, but man I really strongly disagree how they are handling the translation for global, in which essentially turns every Umamusume into freaking Daitaku Helios Gen Z slang for their dialogue. If this continues to get worse, I might just sadly drop this game. You can still play this game, but I really don't recommend spending any money if you really do not like their decisions for how they are localizing this game.

It was the lowest point of my life. I had nothing to live for, no goals, no friends or family that cared, and the only thing that mattered to me was hoping that my ||STEAM CENSOR|| would not be painful. Then, SHE came. Manhattan Cafe came bursting through the window of my apartment, reached out her hand, and told me to follow her. Despite my own wishes, I didn't have enough energy at the time to refuse it, so I took her hand and gripped it tight. She showed me that there were things to live for, such as kittens and coffee, and that long raining nights that you keep looking at because of how damn quiet and calm they were. "My dear," she started, "Just remember that I will be by your side no matter what happens. You may not know it, but you are stronger than any mix of words could ever describe." And just like that, she disappeared. My life suddenly turned around. I got my dream job after years of trying. My friends stopped ghosting me, and we would go to the park every day after work to talk about... well, anything really. But most importantly, I started to love myself. A feeling that I hadn't known for the longest time. As I write this comment, I urge Cygames to keep updating Manhattan Cafe in Umamusume, hoping that she may help others as she helped me. Also bought a Bandai figure of her <3
