id say i have around 80+ hours total in umamusume if i were to include my hours from the mobile port, started the game in mid 2025 during the tokai teio and mejiro mcqueen collab banner i think the game is pretty easy to get into and can get addicting pretty fast, the training mechanics are unique and the game itself isnt something id seen prior to playing in 2025. i think personally its one of the best gacha games out there, its free to play friendly and is oftern generous with its rewards (login campaigns/login events ect.) compared to other gacha games (genshin im looking at you specifically) i will say the gacha rates can be quite low and if you dont know what banners are coming and your low on karats and cant pull for the one currently on banner it can be quite hard to earn karats if you hadnt already been saving (i saved for around 3-4 months for the manhattan cafe banner and got all copys needed to made her 5 stars and potential level 5 within just 30k karats. but ive seen people go 30k into a banner and only get one copy, so the luck really depends sometimes) i will say i havent played actively for a solid while due to how boring the current newest story is (make a new track i think its called, so boring i forgot its name) its so repetitive and its hard to build a solid uma without setting the same races for every uma over and over and over. 9/10 really addictive but will get repetitive and boring after a bit geeeeeulp
