Two Dots - Connect the Colors

Don’t understand I gave 2 dots 2 stars. But I tried fir 20 minutes and have no idea how this game is played, strategy, etc. so when done with review it’s DELETE time. Audios 2 dots.

Too few moves too many ads The game is beautifully designed and was soothing to play. However, at the higher levels 8000+ you get very few moves, for example, 21 moves to overcome 28 obstacles, many of which take two hits to eliminate. You then have to watch ads for extra moves or spend boosters. Some of the game ads are fun while others are ethically questionable - gambling, wasteful consumption, etc.

Too Expensive I used to play this game a lot and spent a lot of money on it, but I got sick of that and quit playing it for over a year. The hidden picture side game is the only part of the app I’m actually interested in, but I hate how they put a short timer on each level so that you feel pressure to complete them as fast as possible. Then within each level they leave part of it locked unless you pay gold. The amount is so high you have to buy a ton of gold with real money to finish each level. I actually did do that, routinely spending $20 or more per month, but I’m not giving them a penny more. I opened the game today for the first time in ages to see if anything changed, but it’s still the same model.

WAY TOO MANY POPUPS I’ve been playing this game for YEARS it was fun and simplistic. But now there’s so many RANDOM pop ups for RANDOM modes. And it kills the vibe of such a simple dot connecting game! Please scrap popups . It’s takes me 9 minutes just to actually start playing!

I just want to PLAY THE GAME I DOWNLOADED 😤 I am not complaining about ads. The issue is the other games that have been stacked into the app that are not the actual game. I don’t want to push though 7+ pop-ups for scavenger hunts, lottery games, card collecting, and more. Every single time I have opened the app as of late there is a 5 minute bombardment and the frustration has led me to deleting the app. I genuinely love the actual game. When I first got it the mechanisms were all good and balanced. I would get stuck on levels but never super hard leveled after one another. There is good variety of challenges from special elements. When at long last the stupid app lets me actually play the stinking game I find it engaging and fun, but half of my time is spent clicking away other games. The final straw with the app was a change in mechanism, causing the dots to produce a starburst when a square is competed. This is overpowered and eliminates the special benefit of an encircled dot having a starburst reaction.

Used to Be Great, Now It’s an Ad Trap I used to love Two Dots. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable puzzle games out there. Unfortunately, the game has become overwhelmed by intrusive advertising and unnecessary features that have taken away what made it fun in the first place. The biggest problem is the ads. They are absurdly long and often feel intentionally designed to keep you trapped. You don’t just watch an ad and close it. Instead, you watch the ad, click the X, get sent to another screen, wait again, click another X, get sent to yet another screen, and sometimes it even opens your browser or app store before you can finally get back to the game. Then you have to return to the game and click out of more screens. It feels endless. What’s even worse is that there are many times when the X button simply doesn’t work. You tap it repeatedly and nothing happens. You’re forced to wait longer than the timer indicated, making the ad experience feel deceptive and manipulative. Every ad becomes a frustrating obstacle course of multiple screens and fake exits rather than a simple 15- or 30-second advertisement. The other major disappointment is how much unnecessary clutter has been added to the game. Features like collecting cards, gems, special currencies, and countless side events constantly interrupt gameplay. They pop up between levels, demand attention, and add nothing of value. Instead of enhancing the experience, they distract from the core puzzle game that people originally downloaded and enjoyed. To make matters worse, some of the genuinely fun features, like the rewind games, have been removed while all this extra clutter has been added. The result is a game that feels less focused, less relaxing, and far less enjoyable than it used to be. Two Dots was once a simple, elegant puzzle game. Now it feels like a vehicle for endless ads and unnecessary distractions. It’s disappointing to see such a great game move so far away from what made it special.

So many pop ups It’s not even ads it’s just trying to get to play other things on the app, I already downloaded what else do you what from me!

Variety Love that this game has variety and it’s not all about connecting dots

Fun game The game is fun for what type it is but the pop ups when you open the app are actually unbearable. Like I want to play the game not tap X on 50 different tabs
