How in the world has this game garnered positive reviews? It's absolutely terrible. It requires precision platforming with a character that is too large and with floaty controls. If the fox nicks another box (which are always conveniently slightly in the way) as it's jumping somewhere, it will careen off like it just took a Tyson punch. And when it lands on the boxes, it slides like a penguin on ice. This results in one cheap death after another I can appreciate puzzling and difficult puzzling...but the only difficulty here, long after I'd figured out how to solve things, remained the terrible controls and constant collisions from the oversize graphics. By level 10 of this one, I knew that I'd just be 100%ing this thing over a long period of time, because I'll never be able to tolerate playing more than 5-10 levels of this at a time. There are about 5,000 better puzzle games on Steam, and you should choose one of those.
Honestly a great puzzler. Seems that the level design likes to punish "going with the flow" blindly, so you need to always stay on your toes. Seems difficult enough that it's actually not suitable for small children. The biggest detriment and unfortunately the biggest component of its difficulty is the "floaty" physics: the character's acceleration from pressing arrow keys is linear; there's no initial rapid acceleration from stand-still that almost all good games have. ★★★★★★★☆☆☆
I didn't enjoyed the game but i understand that it's for children. The targetted public might like it. I would recommend it too if you want to have another easily completed game to your collection.
Casual puzzle platformer, with similar mechanics to their other title Tricky Cat. Free version available at Newgrounds.
In Tricky Fox, every block has to be touched and disappeared, usually in particular order before the goal opens. Many levels contain spikes that emerge and disappear with every other vanished block. The management of spikes and jump height (to reach all blocks before end) is the main puzzle feature. Tricky Fox is not as repetitive as Tricky Cat though with 100 small levels it can't avoid that. Controls in the Steam version are slick and way less slippery than in the free version. The free version also has a bug that you can't jump off from moving platforms, fortunately fixed in the Steam version. I played the free version (with 30 levels) first. Afterwards, the Steam version lasted about 45 minutes. Most levels took only a few seconds, while there's a few puzzles that took a little thinking. Every level grants an achievement, rendering it somewhat spammy. It's great for children and novices in platformers. Recommended on sale. ~Twistorian Curator~
FoxMania: The Quest To Review All Fox Games On Steam!
Conditions for inclusion:

The player character must be consistently a fox; the fox must not be merely a skin or a character option
Must have 100% working Steam achievements
Must not be a visual novel
Game #9: Tricky Fox A quick, simple puzzle game. Jump on all the blocks in the correct order, or bump them from underneath Mario-style, then jump to the exit. Star blocks can be cleared anytime. Letter blocks must be cleared in alphabetical order. Cleared blocks disappear, so you need to be careful about order or you'll delete bridges and staircases needed get back across the screen. Some blocks can be ridden like elevators, but they will disappear when you jump off. Other blocks have protruding spikes you'll need to avoid. The spike blocks provide the most interesting challenge: they extend and retract with each block cleared, adding a fun parity puzzle to some of the levels. The fox can't double-jump, but it gets a midair jump after walking off a ledge, which is required to beat several of the levels which require a super-long distance jump. The game is a little glitchy, but it's not terribly distracting since most of the glitches I encountered seem to benefit the player. Sometimes you can activate a spike block while the spikes are still extended. Sometimes you can activate letter blocks in the wrong order. Sometimes you can activate a platform block while dying so that it keeps running after you respawn. You only need to be mindful sometimes of stepping on just one block instead of two, or making sure you land in the center of the block instead of the corner (or you'll get to see the physics spazz out and bump you into the pit) The puzzle design isn't exactly what I'd call tight. Some of the levels have some focused ideas going on, but most of them feel like they only have vague suggestions of intended solutions which you're free to disregard. I feel like I beat most of the levels in unintended ways, but I'm not complaining -- I'd even say it's fun to break the levels. For instance, there are several levels where you're expected to ride a platform block up into a spike block and bump it with your head when the spike is retracted -- but instead you can just jump on top of the spike blocks and clear them all early. So... is it an achievement spam game? Well, kind of. One hundred levels, one achievement per level, spanning about one hour of gameplay. But I feel as though I put at least some effort into the completion, so I'm willing to allow it this time. Out of all the levels, only about ten of them gave me notable pushback, but none were long or annoying enough to be called boring. I'll score this a 4 / 10, but since there's nothing overly offensive or annoying about this, and it's only $0.99 (and probably cheaper on a sale) I won't thumbs-down it. Plus, that death animation is hilarious and made me crack up every single time. Do you want a quick 100% that isn't overly annoying but doesn't feel like a completely free giveaway? Have this one, then. This is fine.
This game was bought for me as a joke but it turned out to be one of the most fun games I've played in a while. 100% worth the $1.

Забавная прыгалка на 100 уровней с лисёнком.
Вполне неплохие головоломки с платформингом, но не более. ХЗ, осилю ли всё проходить, ибо уже заскучал от однообразия крутящегося лиса.
