If you have a job don't play this game it's not made for casuals, it's made to spend every waking hour defending you're villages, I had many good times on this game, coplaying on accounts that have infinite premium points was a highlight for me, if you have the money to constantly buy premium points and the time to play you will enjoy this game, huge cash grab and probably one of the most toxic community's i've ever come across, tensions and blood pressure are high had some great arguments on this game and nothing beats smashing someone's hardwork who's been ♥♥♥♥ talking you just because you have the premium points and endless jobless hours to SMASH and Conquer

Good thing you could login this game with steam account, the bad thing this game are a cheap mobile building game, you need to waiting queue over and over just to stare at the number rise and jump around.
Very old and bad and unfriendly and toxic and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community. Everyone is super 20 old accounts. UI flooded with info. New players are going to get stumped like i got. Don't recomend to anyone ever.

great
I have never played a game in the same genre as Tribal Wars before, so i'm not sure what the industry standard is. But this might be the textbook definition of pay to win games. They're is zero fault for the actual gameplay in Tribal Wars. They quests the game gives you is the perfect tutorial for new players to understand how to grow your village. The events they hold are mostly fun and give great rewards for logging in daily. Fun little minigames that help you along in growth and strength. The problem I have is you can't compete with other players who have thousands of the premium currency. And while you can buy premium currency with actual money, the game gives you a super simple and easy to use avenue to getting them yourself. And that would be fine if it didn't carry over to new server and players couldn't use the PC to fast track their village from the very second a new world opens. A new player playing a new world will inevitably be outpaced by players who just pay to speed up resource gathering, building speed, and unit recruitment speed. Players with enough PC can outright buy thousands of resources straight from the market. You can't dream of getting ahead, and you will not keep up with those around you. After the world is a week old, there are armies marching against your low level village with thousands off units mass produced. Even the premium account status you get with PC isn't broken or some kind of overt advantage against other players. It's purely for player ease and it works just fine. It's simply the fact players can buy the easy way to being the strongest in the server with no commitment put in. They pay for a baby seal clubbing and that is exactly what they get. You can also just play for months and work solely to getting the PC with the in-game market without actually trying to win the game in mind. And that itself is a just not a great game philosophy. Tribal Wars, on the surface, seems new player friendly with its simple UI and easy to learn mechanics, but really just feels like an American industrial chicken farm. You walk in, get fed good for a week, then bam, giant blender waiting for you and every other poor sap who doesn't pay to win. I get this game is free and they need a way to make money of their product, but to sacrifice noobs to the quick, temporary dopamine farm of PC rich players, it just seems like a business practice destined to eat itself. I want to love this game, I really do. But without any kind of balance against just buying a kingdom in a few days, they're really isn't any reason to start playing this game. Let the pay to win players fight each other and find a different game to spend your precious time on.
