Trailmakers is more of a sandbox for building vehicles. Sandbox mode is where you would spend most of your time playing, as your not restricted to anything. It also try's it's best to make it seem realistic physics, but sometimes it goes haywire. There is also the campaign mode where you unlock pieces instead of having them for free, but it's more difficult and less fun then it really seems. You can also build in multiplayer which is a fun system. The 25$ is more than worth it, and if you feel like the game is getting bland, there is DLC's for special blocks that you can use. If your doing this for the competitive play, it won't give you that much fun over it. Overall, pretty nice game and also it was my first game that I ever got on steam.
the contraptions you can build in this game are insane
pretty good
