I want to recommend the game. But it's been down for almost a month now and the devs won't tell us anything. FIX YOUR DAMN GAME!
it is the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game i have ever played. out of 17 games i have had town once even with high grade scrolls. you get stuck with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because you refuse to pay for the game and im just done
Even in "casual" mode, everyone forces you to say your role at the beginning of the game and will instantly kill you and mass report you if you don't tell them. Everyone uses cryptic ass language that nobody can understand and vote you out for not understanding it, legit the chat looks like "tk vfc fc ssg iiokl" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "guilty" "REPORTED" There are many roles that are better if kept hidden, yet the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ community won't let anyone play the way any other way than the extremely specific way they do. Every single one of your chats better be a set of cryptic morse code or else you're immediately voted out. It's not worth playing, it's sad because this game was fun a few years ago.

It's a pretty fun game I'd say. Of course, it has it's own frustrations when your teammates can't freaking read, but OK. It's not perfect, but it tries. Somewhat like another version of One Night At Palermo.
The other comments are right. The community is unkind and sometimes really toxic with new players, while also I encountered just by day 2 of playing the game a few gamethrowers that really blowed the fun out of the game. Also the fact that you have to buy at least a starter pack to play unlimited games when it says that is free to play i don't think it's a good thing for the reputation of this game.
Possibly the best game ever made. Every game is a story I can tell to friends, and no game is ever the same. While this game has few reviews relative to other games, the player community is highly active, and I can always get a game no matter the time of day. Lobbies typically fill up to 15 in under 15 seconds for the Casual game mode, which isn't even the most popular game mode (All Any is the most popular). The recent updates have been really good, and actually addressed my biggest criticism of the game: no tutorial. The new tutorial is simple and prepares new players to jump right in. I used to try to explain to people how to play and the new tutorial does a better job than I ever did, it's so succinct and not like other games tutorials which tend to be boring and confusing. Also, I saw a review complaining about a guy getting banned for naming himself "Mosque burner," so let that give you an idea about what the negative reviews are complaining about. Honestly, it makes me glad that BMG/DB actually reads the player reports and acts on them because so many other games basically never ban anyone and just ignore flagrant racism and abusive chat/usernames
I kinda want to see a 1v1 between DBD players and TOS2 players; see who hates their game more.
♥♥♥♥ game
Would be a half-decent game if it would let you make an account to play it. Cycled through every registration error imaginable before landing on the excuse that my "steam community profile isn't set up". I've since set it up and edited it multiple times to no avail. Just say you can't support any new users holy crap. I've been an avid TOS fan since I was a kid but this is just ridiculous.
SO FUN
