Was in its prime when it released. Simply put, there's no way to reasonably learn (or relearn) the game. You're given a massive text-dump if you want to figure it out, and that's it. Most people tell you to watch a few hours of a YouTuber to pick up on enough to play 1 match. Casual mode is no longer for newcomers, and the "main" gamemode is chaos with very little predictability at all. TL;DR, if you don't already know the mechanics, it's not worth trying.
its a GEE GOLLY good game. Like GEE GOLLY.

Its the best social deduction game out there
Really fun social deduction! Runs on literally anything... My only gripes are really that the game is TECHNICALLY free but you only get 5 games, regenerating 1 every 2 hours, and free players can't get any cosmetics or game-play altering scrolls, but outside of that the free experience isn't that bad...
i love tos1 and i love all the cool new stuff in tos2
Community thats left is pretty weird. They will get rid of you if you dont type fast enough or respond immediately. The first game was better
The apotheosis of the social deduction genre. I've been enjoying it a lot as a new player starting in mid 2026. The community can be toxic to people who screw up. If you don't understand something, people are often willing to explain it. If you're not confident as a new player just say that you're new and don't fully get it, and people will usually understand and explain it for you. Or just watch a few pipetron videos. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you like social deduction and are willing to figure out the basic formula of the game, it's a pretty quick pick up and very fun. (Yes I know that's a hot take. This game's is often regarded as having a steep learning curve)
This game has been DDOSd for almost 2 weeks.
Cursed scrolls don't prevent you from getting the role on the scroll, with how many roles are in the game it should be 100% effective.
Haven't played this game in a month because the servers are down
