there's gonna be a few links here... This is your average, simple Arena shooter fix you can get.fast movement, chainguns, rifles, rocket launchers, random maps. you get the idea hopefully. only problem is, ofcourse are the playerbase. I think "Cube 2" would have still been a better name in my opinion. yea I'm gonna go up to my friends at work and ask them "Hey, you guys want to play some....TomatenQuark?" I would imagine the responses would be like "What in the hell is that??" "Are you on drugs?" And then going on and on about how it's an arena shooter because ya know, AFPS is a dead genre and you have Counter Strike to thank for that death blow in my opinion. << and that my friends, I would like to wrote a whole blog/story about the denial of AFPS genre but that's for another time. The menu options are all over the place. I'm sure there's standards nowadays where everything is organized and easy to see, but here? yea try finding the settings for the graphics and whatnot. it'll take you a bit. I feel like all these open source games should have came to steam way before. It's also a tough market today and since there's also other free to play games that the companies and whatnot advertise the hell out of their products, ofcourse people are not gonna find this. Open source games is pretty much a source code that was made free by the original author for other devs/indie devs/freelance/whatever and others to play and contribute, kind of what others like Open Arena and Xonotic are doing. I'll put in some links here that I've found. don't expect some of these open source games to have like mass publicity or whatever. but they're fun.
