Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 19 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Note: The main game Background has been changed to a new, more neutral light-blue hue.
Many decades ago, a machine called the Wind Mover mined pure atoms from the air, creating infinite energy. Cities thrived, children played, and the world was peaceful. Over time, a small crack formed in the Wind Movers' pressure chamber. This crack was ignored for the sake of a bologna sandwich. Within minutes, the chamber collapsed, causing great damage to space and time itself. This event shattered everyday items into shards like brittle glass.
As one of the few fixers left, you’ll craft broken artifacts back into working form, fulfill customer requests, and uncover the story of the people needing your skills.
Cozy jigsaw‑style puzzles – Rotate, flip, and snap fractured pieces into place.
Challenging mechanics – From simple repairs to complex multi‑layered artifacts.
Letters from customers – Read heartfelt notes that reveal their lives and needs.
Narrative progression – Each repair advances the story of a fractured world!
Tinkering Is Enough is about patience, precision, and the quiet joy of repair. Every restored item is a small reminder that even fractured worlds can be pieced back together.
A nuclear disaster happened and you're still stuck fixing everyone else's stuff
Thank you to Beedly10 for the curator copy! This is nonetheless an impartial review. You know these little puzzles you complete on mobile without really thinking about it? This is exactly this. After a nuclear incident apparently destroyed every piece of glass in existence (and somehow several objects that are definitely not glass), your job is to rotate and flip broken items back into shape. It’s extremely easy and simple, but just entertaining enough to be worth a small look. The mouse and keyboard controls are intuitive, with reminders accessible through the esc menu if you have a blank mid-repair. Achievements follow normal progression, there’s a sound slider, and some of the objects you fix are surprising enough to earn a laugh. The customer letters were honestly my favorite part. They’ve got inconsistencies and awkward moments, but there’s personality hidden in there and I think that’s where the game has the most potential. There’s also an update planned for June 30th with a paint mode and possible free DLCs later on, which is nice to see, especially from a solo dev project. That said, this definitely needs a bit more polish to be a full recommendation. The game is very short (my playtime was inflated from streaming. It'd estimate this to be a 30min - 1h solo experience) and there’s basically zero challenge. Pieces often snap into place even when rotated incorrectly, which removes a lot of the satisfaction from solving anything. Some shapes don’t even match the dotted outlines or colors properly, making a few repairs feel oddly messy instead of rewarding. The difficulty is so low that whether that’s relaxing or boring will entirely depend on your mood. There are also a couple strange presentation issues. The intro story is weirdly hidden behind an arrow on the left of the level selection instead of playing automatically at start, which makes it super easy to miss (and then the ending message kind of loses its impact). The music also leaves awkward silence gaps between loops, and one repair prompt is clearly leftover text from another object. Plus, if you stream with OBS, Chromium-based apps are a nightmare to capture unless you full-screen everything, so fellow streamers: consider yourselves warned. Overall, this lands in a very middle-ground spot for me and I'd give it a neutral rec if I could. It’s not bad, but it’s also not something I’d call memorable. There’s potential here though, especially in the customer letters and quirky humor. I can absolutely see this improving over time, so if the concept interests you, I’d say either wait for a sale or keep an eye on that June 30th update to see where the dev takes it next. Es un juego corto, me ha dejado con ganas de más. No es especialmente complicado por lo que lo puedes jugar mientras escuchas un audiolibro. Tiene unos 30 niveles cada uno con objetos diferentes para reparar. Have you ever broken a plate and enjoyed the process of gluing it back together? This is a good game if you have like 15 minutes to kill and want to solve a puzzle real quick. The puzzles get progressively harder, with more detailed objects, and other things which make it hard to discern the place of each puzzle piece. Worth the price
pretty fun so far I just with you could rotate pieces with your mouse
