This is THE BEST game of it's genre. I have been playing it for a long, long time. It is always installed on my PC and every now and then, I play it again. So stop whatever it is you are doing and go chop some wood.
A moderately complex city-builder. You'll be referring to the wiki and third-party guides a bit, as with most such games. I like that there's no violence, just society versus environment, 'cos that's what I was in the mood for lately. It's a bit of a puzzle-solver, too, with each map needing a different approach. I abandoned a few early games while getting a feel for priorities, early goals, pacing of growth vs resource supply, etc. And what's not to like about post-apocalyptic intelligent beavers?
Ein ganz anderes Spielkonzept was viel Spaß macht.
I don't write a lot of reviews but Timberborn is worth every penny in my opinion. It's such a great game with dedicated devs and a great fanbase. This is a game with a great premise, wonderful gameplay and rewarding game progression. I love the fluid dynamics and the building of dams. Special water management buildings are a top notch addition. I don't think there is another game out there that does it so good. The game is getting great updates and continuous support from the devs. The only thing I'm missing is a sort of campaign or story mode, I would LOVE a beaver story with progression across multiple maps with some extra environmental challenges. Other than that its a solid 9/10 game for me that keeps pulling me back in for more.
It's a cute game about a beaver people who evolved after humans destroyed the world. It's fun, challenging, and you can find yourself spending hours enjoying messing with the worlds flow of water. Making the perfect colony, and finding ways to route good and bad water, survive droughts. I find this game very relaxing somehow. If it ever feels too easy, you can ramp up the difficulty, and it really does get hard. They don't pull punches. MODS, oh my god there are so many good mods too. This community really does love the game.
It's like what you hoped to get out of Sims and Cities Skylines for some reason idk what it is this game has crack in it its so good.
Very fun game to play, but lacks native multiplayer.
