This game is problematically good. I am pretty well addicted and I just got the thing like a week ago.

I was never really into city builders (basically only played Frostpunk besides this), but Timberborn really blew me away. It's just adorable and quite forgiving on normal difficulty. With some right resource management, you can basically always start over even after all of your plans've gone really bad. And after some adjustment you can build fully automated luxury communism for your cutest beavers, what's not to love :3
Great game, really like the development during the past few years.
..
that was my first sitting!!
The most fun I have had playing a management game in years.
Opened Timberborn, loaded world, noticed how wonderful this place was. Just Beavers. Then the drought came, and my beavers died. Started again, immediately built dam, now I have water... but I didnt plan for food. Beavers died, so i started again. NOW I DAM EVERYTHING. I AM THE DAM GOD. THE ONLY TRUE GOD, WATER. 10/10 please play
