Being a Canadian I love how accurately they portray beavers.
One of the best City Resource management games I have played in a long time. Plus the beavers are adorable!
Fajna, relaksująca.
You play as Beavers. You build dams. You are controlling a bunch of dam beavers. Seriously, a very solid city management game merged with a very 'solid' fluids simulator. Water can be very scarce or you can drown in it. Even on hard it isn't unreasonably hard, but easy should be quite forgiving for new players, based on how normal compares to hard.
c'est super
To long term enjoy this game, you have to find what makes you happiest; for me that's water management and automation. With the latest update especially, automation has become easier and I'm figuring out how to min/max automation resources to turn on or off certain jobs as they're needed (eg if have less than 95% of a resource that I can store, then turn on the building that produces it). Water management I'm still figuring out in certain scenarios as I pick different maps with new items like the updated aquifers, and I think I'm finally mastering ziplines to spread my colony out instead of building it super congested every time. Haven't ventured out yet to bots or Iron Teeth but that's ok as I'm having fun the way I want to and that's what I love about a game like this, though I do wish there was something to plan builds before I unlock them to better plan (no mod yet for this afaik). Only mod I've found I like playing with is the ladder which makes the game so much more fun to scale heights.
The interlocking, multi-layered nature of construction is an outstanding feature and very well done. The atmosphere is very nice too.
This game is incredibly charming and well inspired! Love the timed environmental challenges, super well paced in my opinion with my first few hours. I was a big fan of StoneHearth back in the day and have been looking for a colony sim to scratch that similar itch, I might have found it!
This was a lot of fun, kinda hard to start, but i had a lot of fun
