Timberborn

Timberborn is the chillest, most relaxing citybuilder that I find addictive. Calm enough that I can multitask while resources build up, and don't have to worry about pausing to get a snack since I'm forewarned of environmental hazards, yet challenging enough that after nearly 100 hours I'm still excited to play regularly.

Mega Game!

It walks the line of keeping you on your toes with danger from the environment, but sits in more of a charming vibe rather than how some RTS like this can get pretty bleak. The water management mechanics are probably the most interesting thing at the core. Having to work with the terrain keeps it interesting, but it's not overly complex. The updates seem to be well planned and weave really well into the game.

I'm not usually much into management or city builder type games. But I do like making my little beaver city really cute or interesting looking. I just wish there was more variety of decorations, because I have to use the same ones over and over. Some variety would be nice. I've downloaded pretty much every mod that is decoration related.
