When I first saw this game, I thought it was gonna be poorly put together and poorly written. But it's anything but that! This game has a very good story (though it should be expanded upon), and the visuals fit perfectly with the story. I enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end. 8/10, needs to be expanded upon.

I cannot not recommend this game, knowing that I feel so connected to it
from personal reasons
.
The Story
itself is sad. It is touching, interesting. It's relatable, the expressed feelings are legit enough and you can actually put yourself in the skin of the narrator.
The "gameplay"
There's no real gameplay. You pretty much just have to press space *or click* and that's your story. At the end you have a choice to make that tbh I put a bit of thought in, even though there's no real consequence after that. It doesn't engage you, as the player, too much. But considering the "gameplay" length, I don't think you'll regret playing this. I, myself, do not regret doing so. If you're looking for any kind of gameplay, though, then this is not really your place. My conclusion is that this is a really cute but sad game/story. It is enjoyable if you like to get sad lul.
"this was for you." Well, my initial thought went somewhere between "This is probably a meta joke" and "This is gonna be the major plotline summed up", and to my surprise... it really wasn't. This short, but if you want to call it that, "enjoyable" Visual Novel is more often than not a punch to the throat. It'll leave you breathless at times, dealing in its way with the difficult topic that it`s treating. While i must admit that specific dialogues are at times almost annoying to read, you know that everything that is happening was carefully crafted and placed specifically where it is ment to be to give substance to the story and is therefore easily forgiven. So credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, there were a few minor graphical bugs in my play-through, like some texts being half-visible and some incomplete background scenery changes that might take you out of the immersion for a second, but overall nothing that keeps you from pushing forward to completing the experience given to you. Now I do have one simple, not story related problem with the game, and it's really just me nitpicking. That is the fact that you name your character. If you're like me, you probably choose your own name and while i get that you`re trying to get me to empathize even more with the protagonist, it doesn't really work. I am not that protagonist, and i know what happens in my life, but I don't know whats happening in the protagonists life, that is why i am playing this. Really, it might just be me nitpicking and i am sure it doesn't hurt the overall experience in any major way. For a free Visual Novel, that´ll take you around an hour to experience, i´d say GO FOR IT! grab a blanket, some headphones to experience the chill and beautifully crafted music, a can of cocoa and enjoy the ride (maybe a tissue as well).
cant say much more than wow that should not have made me cry
Depressing short story about lost loved one (in a way). Reminiscent of modern inability to handle very difficult emotional situations and grief. Has a voice acting which is rare in free games. If you like depressing existential content this could be of interest.
Good game
sad but good
its okay couldnt bring myself to finish though
