[h1][b]Promising but unfinished game?[/b][/h1] [h3][b]What this game is:[/b][/h3] A game demo where you play at being a mother trying to escape an alien invasion with some unwanted help? [h3] [b]How does it work?[/b][/h3] In the shape that it is, this game demo uses your keyboard and mouse for movement and action. This game is a 2.5D platformer where you move in one direction accomplishing a few tasks in order to remove obstacles and threats from your way. [h3] [b]How does it perform?[/b][/h3] Very easy to play, this demo is a tutorial of some kind showing you how to play. It has decent graphics and playacting. One playthrough is short, but the demo is buggy towards the end. [h3][b]The good points:[/b][/h3] Free, simple, with promising graphics and design, good sound and playacting (voices). It takes around 1.5 GB on your HD, can be played on the Steam Deck, and integrated graphics will be fine. There is one Achievement. [h3][b]The bad points:[/b][/h3] The game is short, but because of a bug in the final scene, it may be long before you can get to finish it (grappling device not working for unkown reasons - I had to redo the same scene more than 15 times before it started working - the devs seems to have been aware of the problem but it has not been fixed). The single Achievement may not unlock on the first playthrough, and multiple plays may be necessary in order to do so. [h3][b]My take on this:[/b][/h3] This is a promising game demo, which is free and works fine for the most part, with a very ennoying bug at the end. It appears to be a demo for a project to come that could show interesting promises. Unfortunately, there seems to be no news forthcoming about this for some time now. Taking into account the existing qualities it has and the fact that is is basically free, I can recommend anyone taking some time to try it. But be aware of its shortcomings...
