Chill game for chill people. Would love to support new game too! Looking forward to it.
you'd expect the porn to be in the game
Gameplay is adequate; puzzles are engaging enough. There is an issue where the H scenes don't show during gameplay, and can only be viewed from the main menu. You can unlock all content in about 30 mins. This needed a few things; obviously, not showing scenes in gameplay is a bug, which needs to be fixed. It also needed a player motivation in relation to the H scenes, for example: players "lose" if they are violated during gameplay; and the level is reset. Levels are made more difficult by "damage" tiles (which exist currently), if player steps on the wrong kinds, accidentally, they lose (and get an enjoyable H scene). The current system is simply, if you complete a level after stepping on all the red tiles, you'll get an H scene. It's not even something you really think about, or that affects gameplay. There's no reason to avoid or target them really. Game is half-baked but could have been great with another month or two of developer time. The systems are all in place to do this, too. Baffling.
Easy game easy to draw. It takes 20 minutes to all clear.
The Witch’s Warehouse Management is a small indie puzzle game developed by maruhani and published by Shady Corner Games that revolves around classic crate-pushing puzzle mechanics wrapped in a light fantasy setting. The game introduces players to Maho, a young witch whose magical shop has become painfully quiet due to a lack of customers. Hoping to break the monotony and earn some extra coin, she takes on a temporary job managing a mysterious warehouse filled with magical goods. What begins as a simple task quickly turns into a series of logic puzzles where the player must organize crates and enchanted items across increasingly complex warehouse layouts. The narrative component of the game is intentionally simple and primarily acts as a framework for the puzzles. Short scenes and bits of dialogue establish Maho’s personality and explain how she ends up working in the warehouse, but the story rarely interrupts the gameplay for long. Instead, it serves as a charming backdrop that gives context to the tasks players are performing. By framing the puzzles as part of Maho’s daily work organizing magical supplies, the game creates a playful atmosphere that fits well with its fantasy theme. At the heart of the experience lies the gameplay, which closely follows the traditional Sokoban puzzle formula. Each level places Maho inside a confined warehouse space filled with crates and obstacles. The objective is to push every crate onto designated tiles that represent the correct storage spots. While the mechanics sound simple, the challenge comes from the strict movement rules: crates can only be pushed, not pulled. This means that a single careless move can push a crate into a corner or block access to another crate, making the puzzle impossible to complete without restarting the level. This limitation forces players to think carefully about every step they take. Successful puzzle solving requires planning several moves in advance and considering how each crate will affect the layout of the room. Early levels act as tutorials that introduce players to the basic movement rules and spatial logic required to complete the puzzles. As players progress further into the warehouse, the puzzles become more complex, introducing tighter corridors, additional crates, and layouts that require more careful planning. Although the game does not drastically alter the core mechanics, later levels manage to create satisfying challenges by combining obstacles and crate placements in clever ways. Some puzzles require players to move crates in a precise order so that none of them become trapped. The satisfaction of solving these stages comes from gradually understanding the puzzle’s structure and discovering the exact sequence of moves required to complete it. The game contains a total of thirty-two puzzle stages, which gives players a short but focused puzzle campaign. The overall length of the experience depends largely on the player’s familiarity with Sokoban-style puzzles, but most players will likely complete the entire set of stages within a couple of hours. While this limited scope means the game may feel brief, the puzzles themselves are generally well designed and offer a satisfying mental challenge during the time they last. In addition to the puzzle-solving aspect, the game includes small collectible elements that add a bit of extra motivation. Certain tiles within the puzzles trigger cosmetic rewards such as costume changes or character animations. These unlockables can later be viewed in a gallery, encouraging players to explore each stage carefully rather than simply rushing to the exit. Although these rewards do not affect gameplay directly, they provide a sense of progression and completion. Visually, The Witch’s Warehouse Management uses a colorful pixel art style that complements its lighthearted fantasy setting. The character sprites are expressive despite their small size, and Maho herself is animated with playful movements that give her personality. The warehouse environments are simple but clearly designed, ensuring that crates, walls, and goal tiles are easy to identify during puzzle solving. This clarity is essential for a game built around spatial reasoning, and the pixel art approach keeps the visuals clean and readable. The sound design follows a similarly modest approach. Background music plays softly during puzzle stages, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere while players focus on solving each challenge. Sound effects accompany actions such as pushing crates or completing a level, providing satisfying feedback when progress is made. While the audio presentation is not particularly elaborate, it complements the game’s cozy tone without becoming distracting. Despite its charm, the game does have a few limitations that may affect some players. The most obvious issue is its short length. With only thirty-two stages and a consistent gameplay formula, the entire experience can feel quite brief, especially for players who are experienced with Sokoban puzzles. Additionally, the mechanics remain largely unchanged throughout the game, meaning that players who prefer puzzle games that introduce new systems or variations may find the experience somewhat repetitive. Another minor drawback involves the handling of mistakes. When a crate is accidentally pushed into an unwinnable position, restarting the puzzle can sometimes interrupt the flow of gameplay. A more convenient undo or restart feature could have made experimentation easier, particularly in later levels where players may need to test different strategies. Even with these shortcomings, The Witch’s Warehouse Management remains an enjoyable puzzle experience. Its combination of classic Sokoban mechanics, charming pixel art, and light narrative elements creates a relaxed and approachable game that puzzle fans can appreciate. The puzzles are thoughtfully designed and provide satisfying moments of realization when the correct solution finally becomes clear. Overall, The Witch’s Warehouse Management is a compact but well-crafted puzzle game that successfully captures the appeal of traditional crate-pushing challenges while adding a whimsical fantasy theme. Although its limited content and lack of mechanical variety prevent it from becoming a long-lasting experience, the game still delivers a series of clever puzzles wrapped in a charming presentation. For players who enjoy logic puzzles and retro-style visuals, it offers a pleasant and mentally engaging adventure through a magical warehouse. Rating: 6/10
