Snagged this up for nostalgia. It was a blast to play back in the day, and if you enable cheats, it basically becomes a castle building sandbox. I must admit however, that its more fun to play when you're managing everything, keeping raiders at bay, making sure the granaries are always full, keeping disease in check blah blah blah. In many ways its the great great great great great ancestor to Manor Lords. I'm an aging millennial who grew up with these titles, and sometimes it's nice to take a trip down memory lane!
