A dark/sad/weird/funny first person exploration game. You play a man on his last night alive as he obsesses over a mysterious painting. More of a story game in that it emphasizes mood and character over gameplay. Takes ten minutes to play and has "next-gen" features like a shrimp tank.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

great game when you're feeling down, acts as a helpful guide
i would totally recomend it to anyone who wants a dark, depressing, phycological horror game that you can beat in one go. also SPOILERS IF U ARE NEW DONT READ : uhm u can unlock the man in the cage
Hmm... This is Definitely a Weird Game... But I think this Game isn't for Everyone... *My Theory* To make it make Sense, in My Interpretation, I think it's About an Depressed Artist who is Desperate to Recreate the Success of his Once Masterpiece (to which he is Obsessed with) through Analysing what Made it soo Special... But Art is Subjective and Every Piece has Its Own Unique Charm and Identity and Even If he Disects What Made that Specific Art So Special, It still Won't Help Him Directly While Creating His Own New Pieces... And That's How He is Trapped in His Own Mind, Afraid of Making a Piece that Would Disappoint Himself... The Desire for Perfection is What Makes Him Drive Insane, Slowly and Steadyly like a Poison Corrupting it's Possessor... The House we See is Nothing but His Own Broken Psyche, His Distorted Mental State in Which he Is Trying to Navigate but is Unfortunate Enough to Get Lost in it... and the Door which is Locked up with wooden planks is what i think is his Mind trying to Avoid any and every sort of Feedback Challenging his Perception regarding his Own self and his Art... As he doesnt want anyone to know his Real Self and HIS Reality... Now He Associates His Worth with What he Creates and Not what he already Is... And the News about Alien and Abduction is I think about How he Feels Alienated and Isolated from the World, Feeling he can't be a Human Anymore, a Flawed Being, As His Own Expectations from Himself Doesn't Allow Him to Be Any Lower than Impeccable... The Oven sequence where he eats food after cleaning the Bloody Oven might be an Indication of How is Feels suffocated in his Company, and how he alone have to Keep Going even after Living everyday in his Created Hell... And the Way He thinks About Himself while Talking to a Girl Online (May or May not be a Real Girl but just a Flirty Chatbot) Suggests How Self Sabotaging Mindset He Has Developed... Everything for Him is Intentional, the Way he Lives, the way he Creates, and the Way he Presents... The Way he Discribes How His Books Arrangments Should be and How Specific he is About It, I Think He is Talking About How to Present His Inner State to Other When or If he is Visited by Someone, to be Not Too Casual and Not To Organized, Just In Between to Make Him Look Human, But His Own Self Image is Very Contrary to What He Pretends to Be... The Guy in the Cage is Noone but His Artistry... A Skill Forced to Reciprocate Excellence But Art isn't About Forcing Perfection but, Embracing Imperfection and Seeking Beauty within Itself... Flaws are What Makes us Uniquely Beautiful and Distinct, Because Perfection Blands Everything Out and There is Nothing Else Left to Recognise You from, like a Robot... But His Inner Critic Refused to Accept Such Lacking and At the Very End, Hangs Himself, Ultimately Ending his Suffering... The Cause of His Suffering was His Association of His Worth Through His Art, He forgot he is a Human and at the End He Ended It all under the Burden of Not being Able to Brew Perfection Ever Again... This was My Theory, and It can Be Completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as The Game Doesn't Provide Enough Cues to Make Out the Canonical Lore of It... Or, I was Just Being Too Over-analyser and In Reality this Story isn't Made to Make Any Sense at All... Whatever it might be, I still Enjoyed Making my Own Theory out of It...

People pretend it's a masterpiece just to feel smart. There's no substance, and it's like always; If you talk enough, you can attach meaning to anything. This has no meaning.
