The amount of times I've belly laughed watching my friend's get absolutely railed by the enemies of these games is too many to count. I've had the most fun in this game that other co-ops in a long time, and it's the best kind of stress and long-format puzzles that keep me coming back. However, why are we using AI.... let's stick to supporting and including the community with in-game art instead of using thieving generative slop, thanks.
I wish I could recommend it more than this app allows. The Outlast franchise (Red Barrels) has already given us so much good content to consume, and maybe I'm getting ahead of the review, but... it's a VERY good trilogy. My opinion about the previous games I leave for their respective reviews. As of now, this is the last game of this blessed franchise, and I'm fully happy for being born in this generation to witness these 3 games from the start. Speaking of which, this game introduced me to the horror side and it's (arguably with Amnesia) the best game in the horror genre. Before starting to talk about the OT, I want to say that this game innovated (not in the universal/game's industry terms but by its self) in a really good way. Outlast is a full-hand for every need and still fills even more on every topic. Its environment is heavy and always thrills your body. Occasionally, it jumpscares you with some things like something falling, turning on, loud sound, etc... It has a mass of antagonists, items, difficulties, trials, maps, minigames, EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING. It's really gore and disrespectful in a good way (core of this franchise) and truly creative on every statue/box/asset/view/everything. Every corner and scenario in this game is unique and genuine. The difficulties really go accordingly to the name they have (they are doable, not the most impossible challenge). The relapses (loop) of levels are nice because it lets you get some upgrade permanently. U have a lot of rigs and all different between each other (and additionally u have upgrades, not just on u, but on the rigs as well :D). Its story is not really explicit/showed directly. Across all games, their stories are connected subliminarily between each other so just search and submerge in it because it's really cool and pleasant :)))). It's well optimized and a big pro bc my friend with a low-end pc can play it likewise. Soundtrack is more notorious on the other trilogy games but this one is cool as well! Loadings, wait rooms and cutscenes are enjoyable, additionally one thing I loved about some cutscenes is the part that they just get in famous real-life moments. Some different features I worship a bit are when you and your m8s appear in a newspaper when completing a special mode, being friendly to your wallet giving you cool items if u manage well your coins, addition of retro games, chess, arm wrestle to play with your friends, etc... Events bring cool cosmetics, enough time to do them and a cool customization of the map and tasks. Every single thing in this game amuses me and has all of my attention. There's just 2 really little cons (that I remember), when u close a door, even if another player/enemy crosses it before it closes, the entity remains behind the door, even if during the animation he passes through it (so it's a 50/50 cons bc if it's the enemy it's good ;p) and the generative AI in the posters. My opinion might be a bit biased about generative AI in this game bc I'm obsessed with Outlast, yet it's still a really low importance use of gen AI. Many people are giving this game a bad review just because of that, and honestly, it's a bit overreacting. From every built-in thing, road trip, heart giving part of this game, etc... people still give it a bad review because of some posters made with AI? That's like taking back the CO E33 indie trophies for using some AI assets on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pole (and just for some weeks xD). Well, if you're still reading sorry for taking much of your time by reading all of this, but I couldn't just write simple sentences to describe how much pure love I have for this game. Therefore, it's my comfort game and far beyond, one of the best games created out there. Thank you and this is my why. Your biggest supporter, Milf & Cukies

Доктор Истерман, насколько how high я должен стать, чтобы получить возможность смыть кровь из под ногтей и скушать ванильное мороженное?
after fully completing the game i can say this is one of my favorite games of all time thats come out in recent years
The game is incredibly enjoyable and has decently understandable gameplay overall. I can't, however, give a good review to a game that uses generative AI for its content or advertising. There's a massive, thriving, creative community that would love to have their own works displayed in this game for a miniscule amount of pay or for even no pay at all and only credit. There's zero excuse for y'all to use AI. Aside from that, some of the settings and enemies are tedious and insane for absolutely no reason. Sister Liliya, for example, is a balanced enemy on her own, with the small added detail of her possibly being any of the statues on the map. However, adding the warmth mechanic of the Resort and the insanely high goal in levels like Despoil the Auction just adds too much difficulty to even the introductory difficulties, taking the fun out of the game, quickly changing the mood from fear to frustration. This principle also extends to newer levels, like the Prison Farm from the Project Boneyard update. The storyline was fun, but there was so much back and forth tedium, which is an unfortunate common theme with this game, that made this level more annoying than fun.
Stress, brutality, peace, wonder and disgust are the 5 words i would use to describe this game. I love it.
este juego hizo lo que nadie pudo, hacer que deje el dbd
