The Outlast Trials

Potential: 10/10 Fun: 8/10 Mechanics: 7/10 Lore: 10/10 Immersion: 9/10 Overall = 8/10 This is the kind of videogame that you're playing when your parents enter your bedroom without notice. Outlast Trials is gruesome, explicit, dark and twisted, in 5 years they will do a graphical enhancement and people will share clips of this game online calling it a censored snuff film...and that's what makes this game so great. The devs allow themselves to create an experience that respects the nature of the saga, this is a world where cruelty rules, people die and don't have any chances and the powerful are empty-stomach starving from power and ego. Sorry for speaking about reality, back to the game! It's awesome, mechanics are basic but polished, very flexible playstyle and truly fun to play with friends, challenges create variety and i appreciate that not all trials are the same, with shorter variants and different endings to obtain. Also love the rebirth mechanic, throws me back to COD prestige days, content and DLCs are fair for the price and they don't affect gameplay or core functionality, mad respect to the RB for that. However, the fact that the game relies exclusively on an online connection is WILD to me, the fact that you can be about to complete a trial in psychosurgery all alone to get disconnected from the game due to some minuscule wifi in-out is nuts. I really hope that the devs provide a future patch so the game can be run offline for the solo experience, other than that, it's an absolute gem and a statement against the industry losing personality over generic best-sellers

玩越久越觉得没意思，bug永远是不修的，入侵是爆内存的，升级掉线就没档，自己也不看看服务器什么样，还因为bug档作废，还有入侵平衡跟没有一样，不如删了，虽然出入侵新玩家变多了，但是变相的神人也多了，社区戾气大成什么了
