Seems to be bugged. Says "hit any key" so I tap every key on my computer for thirty seconds until something happens. Maybe they mean one, unmentioned, specific key. Says to "go to stairs and hit the A key" to progress, but there are no stairs visible. I go to every object on screen while I hit A and nothing happens. Boulder Dash is over thirty years old and is far better. If you can dig it up, play that game instead.

The Minotaur is a free to play browser/Flash style Sudoku game where you push blocks around to trap "minotaurs" and crush them. There's also a co-op mode. There are some good ideas here and the game design principle is solid, and might even have achieved some small degree of success as a mobile app or a browser game. The 2D retro graphics are lacklustre and there's no working full screen mode, so the game falls beneath the typical expected standards for a modern PC game. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises.
