best!!!!
It feels like an early access cut short. Early game feels pretty decent and there are some cool ideas that stand out. But the further you go the worse it becomes, end game is almost unplayable. With each new tier number of possible gear combinations decreases to a point where you have no choice at all, and you can soft lock your campaign by spending resources wrong , because almost every resource is finite. I was playing with 3 other people and we couldn't craft late game gear because there wasn't any salt left on the map. We had to start new playthrough in sandbox mode and farm it there to then move it to campaign mode. It would've been a pretty good game if it kept the same level of polish from the beginning to the end, but it didn't and after seeing the reviews for follow up DLC I'm pretty sure it will never improve.

A lot of the gameplay is floaty and janky. Lacks polish and depth in many aspects. It's serviceable, but I wouldn't call it good.
