Nothing Simulator.
There isn't really any gameplay to this game at all. It's mainly just hover over a button that takes you somewhere and collect wood if it's present. I cannot open the inventory at all, despite it telling me that there was an option to. This lead to my health decreasing to a point that I would have died had I not given up on this game. The idea is unique and did evoke some scares, but I don't think it was effective enough to be made into a game.
As a fan of "Wardwell House" and "8/8/88 Needle AL", "The Holyburn Witches" offers something different as compared to the previous entries which is why I'd recommend it but with a bit of hesitation. Don't get me wrong, the game looks amazing which for me is one of Moolion's greatest strengths in storytelling....the look and the narrative. I think that's what's missing in "The Holyburn Witches" which is what drew me to the other games, a strong and compelling narrative along with striking visuals. If Moolion were going for something original, I applaud them for it but it doesn't work here (and that's just me). I'll always look forward to what Moolion offers but unfortunately, this one fell short.

Wondered about whether it was actually really difficult to make it through the night after reading a few of the reviews. Can confirm it IS difficult. I would like a little bit more to look at while traveling until night time..the black goat felt like a friendly face. Overall, it is a pretty cool idea, so may come back to it if there are any updates. My game-play if you're interested: https://youtu.be/29jmQC_PVMg?si=x_3Eg0SNjG9_vC-Z
