The Hepatica Spring

Ok, this game needs more attention! I fell in love with the world and the characters at first sight. If you like a cozy fantasy vibe inspired by nordic folklore (so expect trolls, faeries, elves and magic) that does have a serious message to tell, you are just right. I've played my fair share of visual novels (also with the option to date some of the characters) and often don't find myself really interested in the cast. This was a new experience for me, I loved them all! The characters are well written, multi facetted and eventhough the story is on the short side, I feel like I got to see a piece of their heart by the end. lthough I must say, hands down, my absolute favourite was Vendel. Maybe because it's the friends to lovers thing or because his personal story relates to the overarching story in a special way (I loved the way it was written). So, overall, a clear recommendation from me! Oh, and if the developers ever think about publishing a DLC with further storylines, count me in ;)

I absolutely adored this game, it was like a rare animated film except its just a visual novel. I went full on romance with Vendel, as soon as I saw him in the trailer I knew he was going to be my love. The characters are charming, it sucks there wasn't more RP option but it was still a cute short game. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
