this is a recommendation with a big * *This anthology is incredibly rough, and it helps if you can look past what's being presented, and try to see what they're trying to achieve. I do think some of these devs had great ideas, and a few games have potential for expansion on their concept. The Other One definitly deserves a full release, with a very fun mix of light escape-room elements and playing with first person and second POV with the vhs tapes. (Also when you try to use a crowbar on the door, I really enjoyed that detail that there's a small cutscene for that attempt, instead of a "no that doesn't work here"-message.) if you can look past the jank and bad stuff, these devs have cool stuff up their sleeves, and I'm definitly willing to give the sequel a go in the future.
I'll be frank, it feels like little to no QA was done for this. Most of these games needed to be cooked more before releasing this. The Other One: I did like this one, the whole camera idea was a neat concept. UV Goggles: The player character and as a consequence the game was way very slow and that noise that played the whole time was annoying. Consume: The first part was kind of meh, but passable. The house segment though was just awful. You're way to slow and it's often unclear what is expected of the player. I spent way to much time trying to find the next trigger. It got to the point where I was hoping I would get killed so the game could just end. The Door: I actually liked this one a lot, I like fiddling with machines. Good job. Garrison Broadcast: It was fine I guess? Didn't understand why I got scolded at the end for doing the only thing the game would let me do. Bobo's Quest: This was fine to, felt like it needed more added to it. Night Sight: Not scary, not good, unclear what my objectives were and sitting at a camera monitor for two minutes while three things happened was a bad choice. Funhouse of Blood: Wasn't bad, wasn't good. It was just an experience. The Mineshaft: I like this one as well, it was neat little adventure. The Hub: Please add a narrative to your hub or some puzzles. I know the intent was to make all the games easily available but the hub just felt unneeded without anything to actually do. Please for the next collection let the games cook longer and do some QA on them.

TLDR: if you just want a gameplay video then scroll to the bottom We have here a collection of horror games split in to a neat singular package. disclaimer for streamers: However just a heads up if you're a streamer, the game runes different executibles aside from the main game(according to OBS at least) so you'd have to select game capture again and select the new game name from the list each time you swap tapes. The main game 'menu' is set in a house with various tapes lying around. These tapes are what starts each of the different types of horror game you will be playing. Since it was a compilation of 9 different developers each mini-horror game will play slightly differently from the others! Its a very cute idea to have them all jam packed in to a single collectible game. each tape seems to take around 15-30 minutes to beat so all in all you're looking at around 3+ hours of gameplay or 5+ if you're a bit slower with horror games. The three experiences I had were all quite different from one another. The first one I tried was about a child getting UV goggles being a bit slower paced where the tension was a very real entity that you could see. The second experience was about being in your house and a mysterious head appearing. It was fairly humorous at the end. This one was more tension filled than the previous tape. The Third tape was about a man who finds a tape recorded that has mysterious powers and he needs it to help him escape. This third one was more like your typical run away style horror game. All in all each of the three tapes I played were wildly different from one another which makes these bite sized horror games very enjoyable. 3 of the 'Tapes'.
