That's right, Todd. Keep updating the game to sell your stupid creation club and break all of my mods every once in a while. ♥♥♥♥ you! And if you're wondering, yes, you don't need to buy anniversary upgrade to use your own set of mods. Most of the AE mods are garbage anyway.

Every new update that comes out and ♥♥♥♥♥ up the mods carries the risk of some mods never being updated to the new version. Many mod authors have moved on, and the ones that remain don't want to have to have to keep updating their mods. Stop being so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greedy. Stop updating for Creation Club ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

why update a game that's more than a decade old it's broken a bunch of mods with no real guarantee that they'll get fixed

Latest update broke everything, even with a fresh install it now runs terribly and crashes often. Bethesda has sunk so low they're no longer content making new terrible games they have to retroactively make their old games awful as well. EDIT: Good news! Since the original doesn't have creation club it works completely fine!
