"The Debug™" is barely a game. It's an advertisement for the developers other games. There's a short 5 minute (extremely badly done) arcade minigame then a slew of advertisements for badly made products from the same developer. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. Publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts. There's also the question of the obviously fake reviews on this, glowing with praise for the "developer"... it seems like there's review manipulation going on.
Before I played The Debug™, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
mom ordered ants for my birthday eat them keep them please them tease them adhere them to my husband's prostate.
The Debug is a surreal horror comedy thing that I quite enjoyed. After playing Potato Thriller I was a tad worried that The Debug could be bad, but I was happily mistaken. The game balances horror and humour well and it left me excited to play Samer's future games. I recommend The Debug if it looks up your ally!
Pretty alright teaser of future Khatib projects. It's free, takes twenty minutes to fully beat it. And I just do recommend it, it was enjoyable. It's properly weird, creepy at times, just neat. Somewhat of a step down from Giraffe Town. But still just enjoyable at least in my opinion. Samer Khatib has a really unique game style. It is not for everyone, but I'm definitely a fan. And I am hyped to see all the future projects. Especially after playing through the lil teaser.
Super well done! would love to see more! Was genuinely confused at the beginning but wow this was good!
Gives about 5 minutes of actual (whacked out) gameplay followed by a long commercial for "upcoming titles" by the dev. A waste of time. Rating: 0/10
