At the close of the Iraq War, Special Forces hunting for weapons of mass destruction unearth something far deadlier – a buried Sumerian temple containing a nest of unearthly creatures. To survive the night below, they must forge a brotherhood with their enemies from the world above.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really good story, probably one the best supermassive games ive played so far
Favorite entry in the Dark Pictures verse. Incredible concept.
Welcome to subterranean hell, or part of what inspired the Sumerian conception of it. You control a rag-tag group of twenty somethings who seem a bit too young and inexperienced to be in this situation, but hey, it's the Iraq war. Hoorah, marine! House of Ashes is in the better half of Supermassive's arsenal of games, the half-worth buying rather than watching through a YouTube playthrough. I found the central premise to be gripping for this type of choose-your-own-adventure narrative, and the player is never without a plethora of choices that can get someone killed. The highlights of this game are definitely the relationship between two of the characters, provided you don't get them killed, and the way that the overall plot unfolds. I was not expecting the twists and turns the premise took, but it ended up being a thoroughly engaging narrative throughout. Note: the game only took about 6 hours to complete, but I have a tendency to leave games running while I do other things. Graphics, controls, and sound design are nothing to write home about, but they're not bad either. The cons include occasionally clunky dialogue, a buggy camera, textures sometimes taking a few seconds to load-in after reaching a new area, and two characters that were bland enough that I never grew to care about them (despite the game's attempts). Overall, a cast of mostly well-written characters, a strong story, and a little jank is actually pretty good for a horror narrative in my eyes. I strongly recommend it for $20 or less, and cautiously recommend it at full price.
The best game in the series, featuring an engaging storyline, action, suspense and well-developed mechanics.
This game was one of the best games i've played. The music is great the character development of Jason was portrayed greatly, I highly rec this game to anyone who likes Detriot Become Human or The Quarry
