Build and automate a lunar colony that Earth depends on. Mine regolith, run conveyor-and-drone factories above and below the surface, manage colonists, trade with rival Earth factions — and play a story campaign with multiple endings.

The game in its current form is extremely tedious. A lot of manual intervention and tinkering is required to make the finicky systems work properly. The slightest unbalance in outputs and inputs breaks everything, and eventually, you have so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slag in storage, everything stops entirely. Contracts require so damned much resources and give so little cash, while all the modules cost way too much. Also, there are several contracts that require your trucks to travel literally to the other side of the moon, which takes months in game, but the contracts on the other side of the moon to deliver supplies expire sooner than that. Conveyer belts COST MONEY. You can't build conveyer belts yourself, you have to buy them. Money is the most limiting factor in the entire game, and it's so damned limited that expanding production is just impossible.
This game has the makings for a great game but there are some fundamental things it just doesn't get right. For example I am soft locked now as I ran out of green science but dont have the market open to do contracts or buy more green science.
The relentless crashes destroy what would otherwise be an enjoyable game. I have to play it with a 5 min countdown alarm on a loop to remind me to save the game. I've lost hours of game time due to hangs and crashes. I'll come back in a year or so when it's fixed.
**The Crust** is that kind of game where you feel smart, important, and just a little bit overwhelmed with responsibility 😄 The Moon, logistics, resources, and a brain working at 120%. It’s highly addictive: you just wanted to build one module, and suddenly a few hours pass and you’re running an entire lunar corporation. The interface is clear, the atmosphere is truly cosmic, and the sense of progress feels great. A perfect choice for strategy fans who don’t mind using their brain. Highly recommended 🚀
Prozessor :AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor (3.40 GHz) Installierter RAM: 32,0 GB GraKa: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
I'm 3 hours in and this game still needs work. It feels like a v0.6 product not a version 0.99. The research tree is not balanced properly e.g. There's a bug if you don't start the conveyor research before the landing pad and lease research that is just frustrating. Can't believe this wasn't picked up in early testing. Sound and visuals are great but if the logic doesn't work then it's frustrating.
Even with their "Big FPS Update" mid-late game only gets about 45 fps max on a RTX 4090 with an I9 on 1440p.
Game has potential, and makes fun to play. It has the classic loop of "just on more click". But! curently the game has a bug whre drone just stop to repairing or building buildings for periods of time. They just sit around doing nothing, while your factory stops working. To suddenly start to work after a couple of moon cycles. This feels so annoying, that at the currentl time I have to advise against buying this game.
