Build and automate a lunar colony that Earth depends on. Mine regolith, run conveyor-and-drone factories above and below the surface, manage colonists, trade with rival Earth factions — and play a story campaign with multiple endings.

Textures are blurry no matter the settings... and can you PLEASEEE, either normalise the Alices dialog and make her professional and a normal WOMAN, or simply remove her from the game..... she's utterly annoying and off putting... who wrote this dialog?!?!?!!?! Just add the setting to remove her completely, at least from sandbox mode. I will play the game more of course and might change my review to positive since I really like the concept, but so far, just because of the Alice, it's a NO... sorry, I just cant support this "im superior to everyone else" attitude... so incredibly idiotic... EDIT: Had to edit Engine.ini file to remove all of that blur... here are the lines I added to the bottom of the file if anyone has the same problem: [SystemSettings] r.MotionBlur.Max=0 r.MotionBlurQuality=0 r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0 r.PostProcessAAQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 r.LensFlareQuality=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 Original article & author of these config changes: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3290088076
Einfach gut
This game looks great from the videos. I have played for 40 hours and found it fun at the start, but that is where it ends for me. The research times are just insane unless you are spending the in game currency for boosts in research point (across 3 research trees) just makes it a grind right from the start and it only gets worse. The contracts, again from the start want mostly stuff you are not making yet or unrealistic amounts for where you are at in the game, these contracts are needed for in game currency and to buy robots and rovers to progress. The more you progress the more the game changes, contracts want more stuff for less payout and the cost of research point increase. I tried this game in 3 different saves, trying different things each time and the only thing that seems to do well is selling fuel but that is quite a few researches in, you need to find ice and build a few machines and dedicated storage. I didn't experience any crashes or issues with saves that I have read in other reviews, but I do not recommend this game due to what I think is bad balancing/game mechanics.
I put 46 hours into building an absolute powerhouse of a moon base, utterly loving every second of the 1.0 experience. Then patch 1.13 drops, silently turns my save file into a corrupted slideshow crawling at 17 FPS, and the devs casually drop a message in Discord saying, 'Oops, room data is borked, good luck.' My base is a pile of digital rubble, all that time is potentially down the drain, and honestly? I'm completely lost for words. I'm genuinely scared to even open the game up again in case it eats whatever else I have left. Inimical save-corrupting updates are a builder's worst nightmare. Unbelievably painful.
Solid game with a good difficulty level. It's hard enough to be challenging while playing casually, but not so hard that it feels like you have to save scum after every mistake. If you like factory games and colony sims, this is an excellent one. I've only played the campaign mode, but that's because it's a solid story. The story is good, but doesn't stop you from playing the game you want to play, It's not as intrusive as many game stories, so it just adds to the game rather than making you feel like every decision you make has to be story related.
Вобщем и целом .Игра интересная , но есть одно огромное НО. сюжетку ни в коем случае нельзя форсировать) дважды переигрывал из за этого( Саундтреки огонь !
I really want to like this game but the tech tree makes it the most infuriating thing to work with. (At least for the current story mode.) I was running into issues where I was being massively outpaced by tech I needed and where I was in the game, what resources I had, and the actual amount of research points I had. If you follow the missions or objectives as intended, it is entirely possible to fall behind massively. If you choose to house the colonists you need a massive amount of research. Research that is only prompted once you hit a certain milestone. So if you wait too long (or you don't know) it's possibly to fail. One of the most common work arounds currently that I have found from others it to literally not accept (click the confirmation) new missions until you get tech to a certain level. That is not good design. One of the end game (if not the end game as of now) objectives requires a massive amount of resources. If you don't have a scaled factory (because it's your first time playing or you are learning to optimize) you can just lose. Game over. It's a multi-part mission and you don't know the exact requirements of the next until you finish the first, which in and of itself wouldn't be a problem, if failing the mission didn't involve a game over (requiring you to load a previous save and hope you can salvage the situation, go back far further to a save if you happen to have one, or start over.) It is entirely possible to fail certain missions because your rover runs out of batteries due to the cycles of the sun. If you accept a mission and your rover is too far or you get unlucky, you fail. A big component of this game is the online market where you can buy and sell resources. The starting resources basically do nothing but lose you money unless you put a massive amount in, and you basically need t2-t3 resources to really make any income. The game also (for story mode, which some people frequent, some people don't) will auto accept contracts randomly which will leave you scrambling for resources or you fail the contract. Alongside bugs (which are getting better and fixed), what is essentially a research juggling mini game, the ability to scan for certain resources and find none (Aluminium) and clunky colonist mechanics, I just can't recommend this game right now. It may grow out of these kinks. It might be soon. But right now its a big no from me.
I'm not much for reviewing games, but hitting us in the TUTORIAL with the "WOMAN GOOD MEN BAD" retardism is a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bold move, and the reviews should hit you right back. He asks her how the drones would mine, not sarcastically, just purely curious and all of a sudden he's a big bad guy and she's super good, couldn't do any wrong. Much smarter and more capable than anyone else. AND THEN he has to bow down to her after she's a giant ♥♥♥♥ to him.
Pros: the moon actually feels like a place. Terrain matters, base layouts have to respect it, and the production chains are satisfying to untangle. Cons: my colonists are basically a resource with a face. They consume food and water, they produce labour, they get unhappy in ways I can fix with a slider. In Surviving Mars a colonist had a story that could ruin my day. Here I've never once been surprised by a person. Still recommending because everything *around* the colonists is good. But this is the axis where the game has the most room left.
