Overview

The world is dying.  Across the land, tears in reality known as Shimmers are appearing without warning. Entire villages vanish. Ancient things stir beneath the earth. The old gods, silent for centuries, have begun to wake, or perhaps they’ve been awake…The Cradle of Life is a dark fantasy RPG focused on exploration, consequence, and tactical combat. Every region tells its own story. Every choice has consequences, though those consequences may not reveal themselves until much later.

Create Your Character

Customize your character with 100+ combinations as you play as Caelis, a weathered warrior searching for answers in a world that seems determined to hide them. What begins as a journey to recover a forgotten relic soon becomes something far larger. Kingdoms built on lies, buried histories, and gods whose intentions are a mystery, even to their peers.

Tactical Turn-Based Combat

Combat takes place on a tactical battlefield where positioning, terrain, and decision-making matter more than grinding levels. Every weapon class plays differently, enemies fight with their own strengths and weaknesses, and a single mistake can turn a battle against you. Manage your Psych, positioning, and weapon choice against various enemies. Every enemy can be eliminated with the right strategy. 

Immersive Worlds

Explore beautiful and atmospheric maps as you search for the truth. Survival extends beyond combat. Hunger and Psych are constantly pulling at your character. Starve long enough and your body will fail. Lose your grip on reality and the world itself starts to change around you. There are no quest markers pointing the way forward. People will lie to you. Records will contradict one another. Even the gods disagree on what the world should become.

The pantheon of gods are both diverse and divided. Airealen speaks of life and sacrifice. Yrris demands judgment. Valen offers comfort in dreams and oblivion. Thozur teaches that all things decay. Naerun embraces change, no matter the cost. Zahl watches in silence.
