You are a worker at the “White Whale” factory. The dystopian world of the future reminds you of the most horrible times from the past. The poverty that reigns in the country and is practically all-consuming does not allow anyone like you to climb the social ladder.

However, once you come to the job, it seems to you that your head is about to split. It hurts right in the middle of the brain, where the board is. After barely making it to the medical unit, you realize there's no help coming. No one is gonna help you.
You were agonizing for several days when you suddenly found out about “The Black Whale,” the only drug that can relieve the pain. At the same time, it sends you on an amazing journey on the back of flying whales.
Although there is a problem, “The Black Whale” is very expensive. You have to find money. No matter where, no matter how.

Returning to reality. You understand that you need more. Sell your property, gradually descending nearer and nearer to the social bottom.
The core gameplay loop consists of exploring locations, reading notes, interacting with NPCs, finding required items, and completing simple objectives.

I wouldn't exactly call this a game but at least it had a plot.
Despite having relevant topics with todays political climate, it doesn't really do much with them. Its writing is very basic and everything is more tell than show despite the medium for storytelling. There's nothing really unique about the point of view character or his story that makes the player really want to engage with it. Personally I'm an self proclaimed achievement hunter, yet I am not compelled in the slightest to replay the game to get the last two achievements I missed. Its a short but rather boring game that can barley classify as existential horror, let alone psychological. The only compelling aspect is the name and picture of a whale skeleton. With all that said, I would still hope that Marrit keep writing stories. Maybe try thinking deeper and learning more about the subjects you write about, rather than such surface level ideas. The story is what carries the most weight in making games. The second is game mechanics, which I don't consider myself qualified enough to give critique about.

Очень сомнительная игра. Изобилие неуместного подросткового мата, главный герой это какой-то омежка, да и в целом всё слишком edgy. Я ожидал чего-то более масштабного и философского.
I'll recommend it because it's free. This game is more of a walking simulator than anything resembling horror. It touches on topical issues (homelessness, addiction, corrupt government, etc.) but fails to expand on them beyond stating their existence, likely because it's so short and doesn't take the time to do so. It's really sad, and it creates empathy for the people suffering from those issues, but I found the story to be a little over-the-top to the point where it became melodramatic in the later half. It was just one bad event after another with no breaks and minimal character development. Characters with too much self-pity are hard to follow. I feel like the story would've been stronger if the main character started out with hopes and dreams he had to give up on when he became addicted. Because he begins the game with suicidal depression, he doesn't have much to lose since he's already at rock bottom, and his character arc feels flat. Something I thought this game did really well, though, was contrasting the harsh reality with the beautiful hallucinations. The drug-induced world is peaceful and pretty compared to the real world, and it's easy to understand why the main character would be so compelled to keep returning there. It felt surreal in a way that made the return to reality jarring. This allows the player to experience what the main character is experiencing and personally relate to his struggle. If you have ~20 minutes to kill and you want to be sad, give this game a try. It's far from perfect, but I think the good parts make it worth playing once.
Вы работаете на фабрике в мрачном дистопическом мире. Имплант в вашей голове сломался, и вас преследуют невыносимые головные боли.
Игра топ. Разраб умоляю, не слезай с тяжёлых
