This is a really fun auto-battler with the right level of complexity and an excellent gameplay loop. A lot of people are leaving bad reviews because of the character dlc, and while I understand the frustration, it's an honest pricing scheme that doesn't rely on whaling/selling ingame currency as the primary way to fund the development of the game. There's already a huge amount of variety and fun to be had with the default cast, and every dlc character is bringing not just a slightly different experience but a whole new set of items and skills that completely changes the way you play. Are they 5-10 bucks more expensive than I would like? Sure, but that isn't a big enough margin for me not to reccomend the game to people. I've played for hours without buying any dlc and had a great time, and am far from having exhausted the first three characters.
Absolutely worth even 30 dollars. My playtime came mostly from the 3 heroes included in the base game. You can have hundreds of hours of good, fun gameplay without needing to buy another hero. I really dont get the negative reviews about the pricing. Obviously perfect on the steam deck.
