fun yes ya yaa yaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
This game could have been good. I had fun for the first 30 mins, but unfortunately it is insanely repetitive. Just find the entity and run back to the start, that's it. It did give me a feel of being in a backroom, which was nice. The walking controls felt nice and fluid. However, for a game that claims to have tight controls, the sprinting was just bad, it felt like running on ice. A slight tap of the sprint button sent me flying over the edge, was infuriating! Wouldn't have been so negative if the sprinting was better. All in all the game isn't bad but at the same time it isn't good, it's ok to play if you bored. I may have another go at some point, but, I honestly can't recommend this game.

It's a memorization room type of game as you are chased by the anomaly
I went into The Backrooms: Anomaly Containment Unit hoping for a tense, unsettling horror experience, but honestly… what the good golly ♥♥♥♥ happened here? The game starts off with some promise — dim corridors, eerie atmosphere — but after about 20 minutes, it’s clear you’ve seen everything it has to offer. Each level feels almost identical, just with slightly different wallpaper and lighting. By the time I hit level 3, I was thinking, what the good golly ♥♥♥♥, is this really all there is? There are only four levels total, and they all play the same: walk around, find anomalies, repeat. No real escalation, no new mechanics, no surprises. The tension fades fast, replaced by boredom. By the end, I was just pushing through to finish, muttering what the good golly ♥♥♥♥ under my breath. If you’re looking for variety, replay value, or a truly immersive horror experience, this isn’t it. It’s short, repetitive, and feels unfinished. ⭐ 0.0/5 – More like The Backrooms: Anomaly Containment of My Patience.

The backrooms always has a cool style but this game isn't very long, the FOV is way too zoomed in {it makes it harder to move and much easier to fall into the pits} and the gameplay is repetitive. It has you do the same thing a few times and then the game just ends.
