Outstanding game. One of my 2026 personal GOTYs.

Softlocks and frustration is all this game seems to offer 3 hours in - "you need 30 minerals to dig up the minerals" type situations . Read the reviews: if you don't use an LLM, you will 'fail the game and have redo hours and hours of boring drilling and dialog options only to hit YET ANOTHER softlock, causing you to have to... redo hours and hours... you get the point. I had to use an LLM to even get past the few days without softlocking and I just finished the prologue - what a drag -- I have no desire to play further. The game give you a feeling of being in a sandbox but actually is entirely linear, the only options are: finish as expected, or quit and restart losing hours of progress. I absolutely don't see the appeal of this game. It's just terrible design despite being a solid year past release and multiple patches. Avoid.

The Alters would make such an aweome movie with right cast, director and producers. SCFI thriller. 9/10 on my score board. Lookin forward to playing the DLC in a second play through.

One of a kind game that I played on a whim. In no way was I expecting to get so drawn into this story and character rich survival base builder.

游戏题材上很新颖，也很好玩，UI也简洁漂亮，但是依旧是该工作室的恶臭行为，让玩家面临道德审判，进行道德抉择，玩家玩你的游戏，还得面临道德审判和道德抉择，我是来玩你的游戏的不是让你的游戏来玩我的；可惜steam没有评分，不然顶多给你打个6分及格分。这是非常之大的槽点，其他没得了，还是可以玩一玩的

I think one of the best games i played in the last years. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
