wow, I'm blown away, what a truly amazing game. the base game had an amazing story great dialog and was very addicting. it scratched a satisfying itch. then i played the DLC and that was something else... they turned an already amazing game into something even better and more satisfying. its even more addicting, touching and beautiful. thanks for the wonderful experience, i loved it!
my new favorite game, literally the only time i put it down was when i physically needed to do something else
I am only marking this as recommended because I think the gameplay itself with exploring, resource management and base-building is very nice. The story as well made me very intrigued, dialogue was well done, voice acting in terms of quality is aight. The sense of urgency kept me engaged into it. But the story itself was completely ruined because I literally can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ handle having to manage a bunch of whining clones. I haven't even finished the game, I never explored all the alters so far, but the only one I like is the refiner, the scientist just a little, hate his smartass attitude but helpful, doesn't lash out, and at least he's not guaranteed to abandon and steal my resources. I don't care if I'm missing the point of the story, If i met an "alter" version of myself where I was a constantly frustrated, annoying little whiny ♥♥♥♥♥ which was what I used to be as kid, but as an adult? I'd literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ punch him in the face, not even joking. There's nothing I'd hate more than an insufferable version of myself that every conversation I'm about to have with him would just leave me dreading, thinking like "God, what's he bout to complain about now?". Jan has got some restraint, I'll give him that. I might sound like I'm overreacting and probably just writing this out of the anger I have at the moment with this game. But this part of the game completely ruined the story for me, I found myself just in blind rage after having to deal with the technicians 'whine, whine, whine, ♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥' attitude for the 1493852th time, just skipping dialogue and just wanting to get these other alter's psychological ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over with, completely ruining the story experience for me. My mood throughout this game went from, "Wow, cool little survival exploration base-builder game, and I get to make unique versions of myself to help me out? Cool." to "I can't focus on the story because of the amount of crying and interpersonal drama from my crew, OH MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOD JUST SHUT UP!!!!" At this point, the sun didn't feel like an insane, terrifying danger to me anymore, it's my own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crew just completely driving my sanity off the rails. Anyway, just getting my anger out with this review. Take my opinion anyway you like, the technician guy might have a satisfying conclusion or not, I'll see when I finally get enough ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patience to finish the game. But I genuinely have burning ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hatred for him, he threw me off and stole my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ resources, giving me a love-hate relationship with this game. But the game is worth a try if you want a neat story-driven survival base-builder with exploration in it, and if you can handle a bunch of 'alters' that'd probably make you want to punch yourself in the face multiple times from how insufferable most of them are. I am very built for the exploring, base and extraction building aspect of this game. But having to be a therapist for insufferable alter's of yourself? I'd rather just shoot of all of them then myself, (except for the refiner he's cool.) because I'd feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ failure that I even had to possibility to act like a whiny, needy, complaining ♥♥♥♥♥ as an ADULT. I can see now why so many world leaders just don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about their people and just become dictators.
great ideas, however for a colony sim base builder its doliague is far too much. it ruins the feeling drasticaly
Dziękuję bardzo za lokalizację ukraińską.
