Игра про то, как Птица несет свои яйца. Очень странно, логически.
It was good
This reminds me deeply of the 1983 Mario Bros. arcade cabinet. There's one map, one kind of enemy, one objective. Nothing happens. The resounding feeling is "why bother?"
Sega CD Collection
It's windows 98 all over again, and you get to play Flicky all over again. There isn't much here, but this game fits a niche little corner of my brain, the corner that doesn't want anything but the rising score of a game to flood my brain and fill me with serration. Just for that same joy to be thwarted and pulled from me as someone. Doing it better than me in front of my face. Not that there is much challenge to this score cranking clown vomit. It gets faster sure, but the game is not designed to be a quarter eater, for better or worse. I can understand the decline in difficulty with arcade style games, when money isn't something I shove into the computer directly like Bart Simpson does in that one episode of that 47 season adult cartoon (yes that is a sentence) that people watch. (I do not.) But being able to progress through death is exactly why the metal slug arcade games still get played and sold on console platforms, because I mean it's still Metal Slug, and in fact, you might as well make it difficult because it makes the competition for score pure.
The Adventures of Eggbert is a free to play 2D retro pixel action platformer where you guide a woodpecker thing to collect eggs which magically appear in the forest. You must hold the egg while it hatches, and avoid the foxes that pop out of doors in the tree trunks. What this tells us quite clearly is the developer knows nothing about foxes, birds, eggs, trees, or forests. The technical implementation here is very poor quality. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked, and the game only displays in 4:3 aspect ratio despite being launched in 2020. Was this developed on an old CRT from 1995 the developer found in a dumpster? These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts.
Before I played The Adventures of Eggbert, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
There's not much to this game at all. But I can't really say it's bad. So, if you just wan't to try to get a good highscore on a little platforming challenge, this is a good game for that.
