About
1–4 player sci-fi ghost-hunting horror extraction sim with proximity voice chat.
~2250 C.E. We have conquered the human condition, eliminating war, scarcity, and even death itself.
Fusion was a lie. Utopia runs on “Enticine”—liquefied trauma—harvested from an invasive species we call “Neurospatial Parasitic Entities.” Ghosts, to you. Malicious beings born from extreme human trauma, they weaponize the dead and prey on your sanity.
But you can’t harvest trauma from a world that no longer suffers. That’s where you come in. A Relic. Stolen from a long dead age of suffering and conscripted by Entitech for one purpose: survive for as many days as possible while extracting Enticine from across time and space.
Unfortunately for you, failure and death are only the beginning of your nightmare.
Explore contamination zones, still haunted by the trauma that made them, and uncover their stories.
Search for signs of neurospatial parasitic entities: EMF signals, anomalous temperature drops or spikes, voices over the spirit box, ghost orbs only visible through a camera lens, telekinesis, illusions, and much more.
Use our V.O.I.C.E. technology to speak into the Spirit Box; say hundreds of different things and get replies from each excursion’s entity, along with its captured victims, all with unique personalities. Or even use the Spirit Box to speak with other Relics who have died.
Use the walkie-talkie to talk with the whole team, or local proximity chat for those near you. But beware, the entity is always listening.
Some entities resist your tools, possess you, slam doors, hurl objects, mess with the lights, shatter windows and furniture, wield fire and electricity, and manifest in horrifying ways, all to erode your sanity.
Weather and time of day set the difficulty and rewards.
I.D. the entity by mapping key signature evidence, or by taking notes on extensive secondary evidence and personality traits belonging to each entity type.
Twelve entity types, each with traits, moods and diverse reactions to Relic actions and words. Record what you learn in the log, and before long you'll begin to recognize their personalities.
Locate and extract trauma-laced materials
After identifying the manifested entity, use traps or the Capture tool to extract enticine directly from it.
At the end of the day, your Enticine Quota is due. Any surplus goes directly towards your base power. Do not let the base run out or discover what happens when you fail.
Sanity folds exhaustion, fear, and cognitive strain into one persistent number. Sleep in your cabin, drink coffee, play basketball or chess, and upgrade your base with the serenity chamber to recover this vital resource.
Use your rewarded Energy Credits to craft new tools for you and other Relics.
Spend Base Power to upgrade your base and unlock new equipment and personal upgrades each time you level up.
Your cabin and any unique decorations you give it travel with you from game to game.
