As a fan of the first 2 games, I was super hyped when I heard about the announcement of the 3rd installment i the TDU series. I even considered pre-ordering it, lol. After launch, I was monitoring the state of the game since the release, and it was abysmal. The response from the developer defending online-only play was also really awkward. But since then the developer improved the game iteratively, which was a bit unexpected for me tbh, considering the estimated poor sales (tbh, they could be even a Labour of Love nominee, lol). Still, they lack at least 2 most crucial elements of the TDU: buying homes and offline play. Things I do like: Hong Kong scyscrappers, relaxed game, feel of speed, exploring the island, is running ok on my laptop (no lagging with DLSS enabled). Things I don't like: this whole Solar crown "lore", forced multiplayer, clans, no homes, RWD cars hard to control, a bit empty feeling to the island, some bugs with contracts, some cars are way overpriced, slightly dated graphics, lack of cars, can't purchase the Ford GT (from pre-order), progression is so-so, lack of filters for races/events. Overall considering all the flaws, I still have some fun with this game (yes, it is hard to explain it...) And tbh I don't want the TDU series to die. Since I'm a bit biased (and because I love Hong Kong), I would recommend the game in the current state, though you should buy it only during the sale (80+%).

动不动卡顿

This is a very big step down compared to both TDU and TDU2. Solar Crown feels like a demo, with the lack of cars and small and dead map. I thought that the addition of Ibiza was giving the game more life, but no. It is only a small part of it that is avalible. The whole game feels like it was made in a rush to satisfy shareholders, that dont give a crap of the outcome as long as they cash in.. I am glad that I got the game on sale, but even the 10€ I paid feels like a rip off. I feel bad for those who paid full price for it

Лютейшая ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Most immersive open world racing game. Wonderful sounds, great driving physics, every car feels unique and a very good progression system. The taxi and detectiv missions are a real pleasure. It sill needs some improvments but it is extremly underrated. This game is worth every penny.
