Tattoos and Tulips

I wish there was a neutral button because this game is overall pretty decent, it just has to default to a more negative outlook for me personally due to there being no neutral review button. if you think you will like this game, you probably will, but overall the writing was a bit dramatized and fast paced for me. it felt very wattpad fanfic to me (fanfic in general is not an insult, Ao3 fanfics are quite good, but wattpad fanfic was what i read as an early teen) Some positives: -the backround and sprite art was pretty -Raine and Bea were fun as side characters (i wish we got more of them together) -I like how the game discusses mental health -the in-chapter notes were fun -Voice acted! -free game The main negatives for me are: -The ending was super abrupt, not even like one or two lines of narration, just straight up over after a line of dialogue saying "so I guess we should have tulips for the wedding?" and then the game closes to the main menu. I thought my computer was being weird so i went to my last load and fast forwarded only to get it closed again. -not nearly enough resolutions or flaws looked into more. Like on the day of the birthday when Chrys feels okay snooping on Shay and doesn't feel f*cked up for doing that despite being massively embarrassed by himself about getting injured or crying (which aren't even flaws). He felt well written in the beginning, but he kinda devolved to a jealous insecure boyfriend. -I also feel like at times the writing felt very overdramatic and certain resolutions happened too easily (not that people shouldnt be able to resolve things fast, just that things shouldnt be resolved off screen without consequences, they should have been mentioned/talked about again) -I wish there was more buildup, despite feeling a bit long and like certain things dragged on, it also felt incredibly fast paced and slightly awkward pacing wise.

Absolutely amazing, though there is some sexual stuff in the later chapters, it can easily be skipped if needed!

Even if this game is a little bit on the short end. It still made me feel all sorts of feelings while playing it, and that is why I love this game, and also why this game will hit close to home to me, as the character "Granny" really reminds me of my now late deceased grandma, makes it all the more special and emotional for me. Thank you Tattoos and Tulips, means a lot to me :'-)

Free and readable in one sitting--you don't get any choices to change the story, so it's just a reader, but I enjoyed the narrative well enough! Cute art, fun characters, and well-walked tropes. A few mild misunderstandings, but nothing TOO frustrating, which is a difficult line to walk in this genre. Nothing ground-breaking, but a good time nontheless.

Механика выбора иногда кажется немного линейной, но это не сильно портит общее впечатление.
